Event hall in the outlet town of manufactory. Manufactura Outlet - beautiful scenery or still shopping? What awaits visitors

An outlet center, or simply an outlet, is usually called a format of a shopping center, the peculiarity of which is the sale of clothing from famous brands at greatly reduced prices. The opening of new Outlet Centers has become common practice in countries Western Europe and in the USA. Not long ago, the first outlet in Ukraine opened, welcoming guests in a small town near Kiev.

What awaits visitors?

The Manufactura shopping complex, created in an outlet format, offers customers discounts (up to 30%) on collections of clothing, accessories and shoes from world-class brands. The Manufactura outlet has become a concentration of boutiques of such popular manufacturers as Lacoste, Lagerfield, Ermenegildo Zegna, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Giorgio Armani, Christian Dior, Versace, Ralph Lauren, Dsquared, Fendi, Kenzo, Valentino, Chloe, Roberto Cavalli, Trussardi and many others! In total, Manufactory includes about a hundred boutiques.

Replenishing your wardrobe goes well with having a good time. On the territory of the outlet there are excellent restaurants, cafes and shops offering their own baked goods in a wide range. Family hike Shopping will not be boring, as there is a children's playground with exciting rides and slides for kids. And older children and their fathers will be able to occupy their time with their favorite games and films in a special designated area with free Wi-Fi. Missed the last bus or didn't have time to visit all the boutiques in one day? There is a hotel in the Manufactura outlet town where you can rent a cozy room for little money.

There are things that reach me like a giraffe. While most people have already visited the Manufactory outlet, I only recently decided to visit this shopping paradise. If anyone doesn’t know, then the outlet is shopping mall, which sells branded items at significant discounts; as a rule, these are remnants of past collections that were not sold. The most popular form of outlets are outlet towns, located outside the city. Manufactory is the first outlet town of its kind in Ukraine.
My trip there was very strange, after which I realized that I didn’t want to end up on a deserted island at all :) Now I’ll tell you everything, but for now here’s a short video that captures all the “fun” of this trip:

How to get to the Manufactura outlet?
The Manufactura outlet is located not far from Kyiv, in the village of Khodoseevka, and getting there is not a problem, because there is a free minibus going to Manufactura.

A free minibus to Manufactura runs from the Vydubychi metro station (platform 18 at the bus station) and the Poznyaki metro station. Attention: At the time of publication of the post, the minibus did not run from the Lybidskaya metro station (but it may already be running). I was driving from the Vydubychi bus station.
Free minibus schedule:

You can also get there by public transport, but why?:)
If you are by car, then drive along the Obukhovskaya highway to the village of Khodoseevka. You won't be able to drive past.

What to do in Manufactory?
I arrived at Manufactura at 11 am and was slightly shocked by what I saw there. Emptiness, absolute lifelessness. Like in some thriller, when all the people disappeared and you were left alone on Earth. And what kind of shopping are we talking about here? Here at least find a living person to check if humanity is still extinct! Phew, I found it - first a security guard, and then several outlet workers. There were no visitors at that time - not a single one. And then I felt like Macaulay Culkin in “Home Alone” - yoohoo, you can create whatever you want and be unlimited :) Okay, okay, in the modern world this means that it’s time to take pictures. Wouldn't it be necessary to cut people out of photographs? This is victory!

In fact, after 13 people began to appear, but there were very few of them in the entire town. There are even fewer potential buyers, mostly people like me, people who came just to look.

Outlet Manufactory - it's real beautiful town. I can’t imagine how much money was invested here. You get the impression that you are in Europe, but at the same time you understand that this impression is deceptive and you rather feel like you are in a film set, where someone is about to say “Motor! Filming!” than in a real European city.

On the territory of the Manufactory there is everything you need for life - cafes, restaurants, and even a hotel. But it’s not entirely clear who should consume all this. I don’t know if it’s always like this here or just on my shift? Hmmm, this lifelessness was completely depressing.

Prices
Nowhere will you see so many words “sale” per square meter as here. And it seems that with a 70% discount any item will be cheap, but no. The prices at Manufactory are simply amazing. This is clearly not for those who were brought here on a free minibus. You can see how many people entered stores and immediately left with the words “where are the discounts?” Of course, there are discounts, but if an item originally cost 50 thousand UAH, then there is no way it will turn into one thousand. During my stay there, I didn’t notice anyone coming out with a purchase. I am sure that those who can afford branded items will still prefer to go to outlets in Milan rather than to the Kyiv region.

And now to the cemetery
After I realized that I had already looked at everything in the Manufactory, it was decided to climb the Planernaya Mountain, which is located behind the Manufactory. Glider Mountain is famous for being a great place for paragliding and offering stunning views of... beautiful view. Well, I went to check if this was really the case. But who would have warned that there was a cemetery up there? It’s just that it wasn’t enough...Especially for me, a person who is terrified of cemeteries.
The view from the mountain...well, it's just...an ordinary view.

After visiting the outlet I was left with a feeling of emptiness. Another proof that a beautiful wrapper on the outside is not as important as the filling on the inside. Unfortunately, this filling didn’t suit my taste. I know that there are often entertainment events there and maybe at this time there is a little more life and fun there. But I don’t agree to go check it out on my own a second time.
A trip to the Manufactory outlet was part of my project and guess what? It would seem that this is the easiest trip, where a free minibus brings you, but it was on this trip that I began to feel the first notes of despair. I so badly wanted to break out of this piece of artificial Europe and go further to see this area, but I couldn’t do it without a car. This project is, first of all, a test of my strength to see how long I can travel around Ukraine without a car. And here it is, the first fatigue, which of course was forgotten very quickly and I am ready to continue this experiment further, showing by my example that traveling around Ukraine without a car is possible, although difficult.

. We are happy to continue to findinteresting places in Kyiv and Ukraine. And today I want to tell you about one of them.

Manufactory or outlet townlocated near Kyiv towards Khodoseevka. And being nearby, we did not miss the moment to see what this new building was like.

To be honest, we were not very interested in boutiques; there are a huge number of them in the outlet town; especially for shopaholics, I will provide a list of brands at the bottom of the article. Well, we were attracted by the fairy-tale town.

Neat brick houses with beautiful roofs reminded us of Holland. It's a pity that being in Berlin We did not make the much-desired flight, but apparently everything is still ahead.

The first thing I want to say is respect to the organizers Manufactories. The territory is well-groomed, as they say, not a speck of dust, not a speck. Walking along the wide alleys is very cool and interesting. There is something to see and where to walk. In the outlet town there is interesting sculptures, blooming flower beds, bridges spanning clear ponds, romantic swings and much more.

For children there are: Entertainment Center called "Duckland", a room for caring for little toddlers, as well as trampolines and playgrounds. On weekends and holidays, Manufactura organizes a variety of master classes, exhibitions, and festivals. In general, what they don’t do to lure more people! Some people come to the outlet town to buy something exclusive, others come to look at Dutch town near Kyiv, or better yet, combine them and get double the pleasure.

We stopped by the manufactory on Friday after work, there were very few people, it’s a pity that the sun wasn’t shining that day, but the photos, in my opinion, turned out good. Looking through them I get the feeling that I am not in Ukraine.

On the territory of the outlet town there is a cafe, restaurant and sushi bar, one can say that you won’t be allowed to die of hunger. Moreover, there is a supermarket nearby. The prices were not specified; a delicious Friday dinner of baked potatoes with mushrooms and chicken thighs awaited us at home. Mmmm it was very tasty.)

In the central part of the town stands a chapel that rings every hour. And also in the Manufactory, you can see huge Dutch boots called clogs. The first time I heard about them was on Ellina’s blog, and now I’ve finally seen them live. Only they are huge here, you can’t bring them with you as a souvenir.

There is a nearby free parking And design hotel. I don’t know what this means, but apparently it was invented for avid shopaholics who came for an overnight stay.

Unfortunately, we did not stay in the outlet town until it got dark and did not see it in the night flashlights. It's incredibly beautiful there at this time. Entrance to the Manufactory territory is free from 10:00 to 21:00 every day. Well, now, as promised, the list of boutiques.

Painted cow cows “graze” on the lawns; we saw a similar one in Odessa. I even tried to milk her then)) of course it didn’t work!))
