The three of us rested in early September: me, my daughter and granddaughter, 4 years old. We gathered in Marmaris for the first time.
The hotel is well located - 6 km from Marmaris, in a coniferous forest, on the 1st line.
Between the hotel and the beach there is a promenade, which is a definite plus of the hotel.
We found what we wanted in the hotel: mountains, pine trees and the purest transparent sea. This region is a real health resort for people suffering from bronchopulmonary and allergic diseases. It reminded me of Crimea in autumn. Velvet season, no heat and low humidity. Very easy to breathe!
Accommodation.
Thanks to the reception staff, they placed us quickly, promptly, we arrived at night: we bought a standard - they placed us in a family room, in the main building, at no extra charge.
I liked the number: 2 rooms, with an interior door. In one room - a double bed, 2 bedside tables, a table, a mirror, an armchair, a coffee table; a room with a balcony. In the second room (small) - 1 bed and 1 folding chair, which unfolds into a single comfortable bed; bedside table, full-length mirror. In each room: in a sliding wardrobe (there are a lot of hangers, there are no shelves as such, shelving is below the compartment with hangers), in the central air conditioner - there are 2 of them (a switch above the bedside table in each room, where you can only adjust the power of the air conditioner , without temperature), on the LCD TV on the wall, also 2 (there are many programs, including Russian channels, 2 children's channels with cartoons). Each room has its own bathroom - in one bath, in the other - a shower. in the dispenser shampoo-gel in one bottle and liquid soap over the sink; shower caps; and that's all. The carpet on the floor is very old, stained, well-worn. I liked the furniture, comfortable, in bright colors. September, not hot. The air conditioner in the room is weak in September, it was turned on several times, it was a couple of stuffy days and nights.
Safe: free, small, only documents are included, closed with a regular key (inconvenient to carry), you need to ask for the key at the reception.
Mini-bar: upon check-in 2 mineral waters, 2 waters, in the future they fill only with water. There are plenty of bottled waters in the bars on the territory.
Room service: upon check-in, the room did not have 1 set of towels, 1 blanket, pillows. We tried to contact the reception by phone, they told us that they did not understand Russian. Linen and towels were changed daily for us. Tips were left daily. Housekeeping is good.
Bed linen: instead of a sheet that hides - a bedspread, like a waffle towel, narrow, small. The towels are old.
There are no bathrobes and slippers. They are issued only when you visit the hotel again.
Territory
Very beautiful, huge. There are pine trees, palm trees, shade all around. The rattle birds and the green area itself reminded Paloma of the Renaissance. Everything is well-groomed, clean. There is a gazebo next to the main restaurant. There are many places in the shade where you can relax.
The buildings are represented by: 1) the main building, in which on the 1st floor there is a reception and a restaurant
2) bungalow-houses are located in the forest, at varying degrees of distance from the sea, of different levels of comfort. the terrain is mountainous, going down and up with a child is not very good; there are houses located far from the restaurant and the sea; there are rooms on the 2nd-3rd floor, the stairs are steep, there is no elevator.
3) a new building has been built, the rooms are not yet rented out in it, they are already populating some floors. It looks the same as the main building, located next to the barrier at the entrance to the hotel.
The building has its own bar and restaurant on the 1st floor (there are only breakfasts and dinners; for lunch they go to the main restaurant in the old building). According to vacationers, a saxophonist sometimes plays at dinner in the new restaurant, and the service seems to be better. All guests can use any restaurant in the hotel.
On the territory of the hotel you can walk and walk, smoothly moving to the promenade. Who loves pine trees - you are here.
For teenagers, there is entertainment - walking at a height among the pines along the ladders, with an instructor, and with a safety cable. It costs $ 20.
Pools
There are many of them, very beautiful, among the pines, in the shade. The water in them is cold in early September, colder than in the sea.
Water park: behind the main building, several slides, the child liked it. There is a lifeguard nearby. The pool is in the shade, among the trees. slides work from 11.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 17.00. The children rode the slides, but I did not see crowds, perhaps there are fewer children in the hotel in September.
There is a children's pool, very shallow; and a small waterfall in the relax pool near the new building. Children are not allowed in the relax pool.
Beach
I liked it. It was on it that we spent most of the time. For the sake of such a sea, it is worth going to the Turban! The sea is always calm, there are no waves, and very clean, transparent, surrounded by mountains. The Bay.
The beach is narrow in width and long. One of the best in the region. Entry into the water - there are 2 types of beach on both sides of the pier with a gradual pebble descent. calmly. Further along the promenade there is another Turban beach with a platform beach, with entry into the water along the ladders. Mostly foreigners rested there. Silence there, like in a relax pool! sleepy kingdom, there are no children there.
There are 2 piers on the beach, with sun loungers and soft mattresses, with large canvas umbrellas and a shower. From the pier, a ladder to the sea, as usual; there is a shower on the pier and at the exit from the beach.
In the sea, floating pontoons are inflatable things with ladders, in the area of \u200b\u200bbuoys, I counted 3 of them. Next to one of the piers is a terrace, where there are also sun loungers with canvas umbrellas. Entertainment is held on this terrace in the evening, it is located at the bar on the beach.
On the beach itself, there are reed umbrellas, I didn’t like them. They give shade, rubbish is poured from them.

Beach cons:
1) a dirty beach. Cleaning is bad. Hotel staff pass by with a rake for the sake of appearance, all the garbage remains. Gobies are everywhere. There are urns (clay jugs). .Accordingly, plastic cups, forks, packs of cigarettes are lying around.
2) the sun loungers are old!! there are broken ones. They are not washed at all. The mattresses are stacked separately, no one washes them either.

Mini club.
Outwardly, a whole town for children, with its own swimming pool, park area, slides, with its own amphitheater, where mini-discos are held in the evenings. Two buildings, cozy, tables and chairs inside. They seemed to be doing something with the children during the day, the animators are trying: they played Indians, made bags, painted T-shirts, drew pictures. There are few children in the hotel in September. The club is designed, it seems, for children 1-4 years old, children 5- 7 years old in such a club is not interesting. Our 4-year-old girl did not like the mini-club and mini-disco, but she had something to compare with.
There is enough entertainment: daytime shows by the pool, contests, team competitions, water polo. But they are boring, sluggish. Animation software, for Marmaris is normal.
Aqua aerobics:

Popcorn is placed on the tables for free. I liked live music evenings more - guitar, cello, violin, these days not pillows were placed on the lower platform, but also tables with candles, drinks, I liked this option more. Music over the sea, among the pines and stars...
Nutrition.
This is the weak point of a 5* hotel. Modest food in Turban, with poor service in the restaurant.
The main restaurant is a large hall inside the main building and a large area on the street. Poor air conditioning in the restaurant hall, in early September it is stuffy. Dirty dishes are not removed from the tables. We could not find a single table on the terrace for breakfast on the 1st day of rest for this reason, although there were many free tables. There were simply no tablecloths on many tables on the street. Crumbs from the tables, if swept away, then just on the floor (and indoors too). Only after a week of staying at the hotel we first saw cloth napkins on dinner on the tables. The number of appliances can be put on the table as the waiter wants - for example, for lunch (dinner) 1 fork and 1 knife, and not for all guests. Drinks must be taken by yourself, including water.
The tables are very close to each other, in fact they are 6 people each, which is inconvenient. Moreover, if we found a table for 4 (and we were 3), the waiters stubbornly tried to seat someone at the table. Here we actively objected Is this a 5* hotel?
The plates in the restaurant are not all clean, there are greasy ones, especially for soup. Shelves with dishes are located at 2 opposite ends of the hall, it is very inconvenient to go over the heads of people sitting at the tables. Spoons and deep plates at one end of the hall, porridge at the other end , this is also inconvenient. Drinks in the vending machines in the restaurant are yupi. But there are juices in boxes in all bars, you can take them yourself in the lobby bar. From drinks in the restaurant - tea, coffee, beer, soft drinks, wine.
The choice of dishes in the first days of the 6th stay is meager. It was difficult to just find something to eat. There are snacks, they are tasteless. You take the second one and don’t eat it. I liked it, tasteless. The fish was always there. There were 2 types on the grill - one inedible, tasteless, the other fish was delicious, there was also fish in batter - good. There were no red varieties of fish. There were enough greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, cabbage, beets. Potatoes French fries, pasta are different. White rice is not always. After a week of stay, the situation suddenly improved. dishes: grilled chicken (whole), chicken rolls with green peas, beef steaks, goulash, grilled meat began to appear.
From seafood, a couple of times there were shrimp in a salad, once squid rings.
For some reason, there was a strong fumes and splashes near the grill in the main restaurant.
The breakfasts are good: many types of cheeses, 3 types of cereals, oatmeal, semolina, rice, too much sugar, like in many hotels. Pancakes were cooked indoors, scrambled eggs with additives on the street (for scrambled eggs, the queue is from 8 to 11 people). Coffee is not bad. baked buns, a bit scary. And another feature: scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, pancakes, toast, buns start cooking after 7.30, closer to 8. Although breakfast is scheduled from 7 in the morning. We went on a tour at 7.30, the restaurant had a small selection of dishes.
Ice cream is good, tasty, free of charge, for lunch and dinner, for some reason only 2 types are displayed. Ice cream is also in the mini-club, Algida, in cups
Bars. There is a snack bar, closer to the beach. You can also dine there, under the pine trees, in the shade. The choice there is even more modest than in the main restaurant. In the evening there is either Turkish or Italian a la carte, one of them is free for Time relax.

I liked the bars: 1) a lobby bar in the main building, with a beautiful interior, excellent service, comfortable sofas, 2) a pool bar, 3) a bar on the beach. We took Baileys liquor (I liked it), Ephesus beer (not bad), daughter I took cocktails. I personally did not like the wine.
