On the one hand, it is sad to part with school friends for several months. But on the other hand, warmth, sun, good mood, the idea that we have a lot of free time and we can walk as much as you want makes us so happy that we think of only one thing: to make the holidays come faster.

The guys spend their holidays differently. Some are on vacation with their parents at sea, others - with relatives in the village or in the country. Some stay at home. But wherever we are, summer holidays are still a wonderful and unforgettable time. This is a rest. The main thing is to spend this time usefully, so that there is something to remember for the next year. Some believe that in the summer it is imperative to leave somewhere far away from your hometown. Of course, summer we associate with the warm sea, exotic nature. Who doesn't want to soak up the sand, swim, play on the waves! Some people like to relax away from the bustle of the city and leave the city, where you can swim in a clean river or lake, lie in the shade under a tree, and enjoy the singing of birds. During the summer holidays, you can have a good rest at home. A river, a summer residence, helping parents, walking in the park, having picnics with friends ... How can you refuse this?

Among my acquaintances there are many who like to travel. Being in different cities and countries, people learn a lot of new, interesting. I like to travel too. And if the parents have the opportunity, we go to those cities that we haven’t been to yet. Our dream is to visit Prague and Paris. I know that this dream will come true, and we will wander the streets of Prague and admire the beautiful Paris. But we are sure that there are also many places in our country that cannot leave anyone indifferent. “I love the corner of Russia - my kind father’s home,” wrote E. Sheveleva.

Probably, each of us also has a favorite corner, favorite place which we love to visit. My family and I often go out of town in the summer and relax in nature. For us, nature is not only a resting place, but also a source of inspiration and strength. Imagine a hot July day. Who wants to sit in an apartment in this weather? So the whole family is going out of town for a few days. We have a rest, swim, listen to the birdsong, the murmur of a stream, admire the flowers. Summer is generally difficult to imagine without flowers. And flowers are always a holiday for a person. Joy and good mood comes to us with them.

“I really want the summer not to end ...” Have you noticed that this song is played very often in the summer? Probably, many people want such wonderful weather to last longer so that the summer mood does not leave us all year round. For me, summer is a holiday that lasts three months. At this time of the year, there is always a good mood and a lot interesting activities... For example, you can ride a bike, play volleyball and go to all kinds of festivals under open air... Most of all, however, I enjoy walking with friends, chatting and admiring summer colors.

When the long-awaited warmth arrives, I can finally put on my favorite bright dresses and light shoes. It becomes pleasant to walk, and nature amazes with its diversity, so there is something to see. In summer, even people are kinder, because they no longer need to hide from the wind and hide from the cold. Therefore, I spared no time to enjoy the sun and its caressing rays. For example, I went swimming and sunbathing several times. Also, in the early morning, I often rode my bike to catch the sunrise in the park.

In the afternoon, we walked with our friends: we discussed the news, listened to music and watched videos. Sometimes they went to someone's home and experimented with cooking in the kitchen. We also took a lot of photos during our walks, because our friend was recently presented with a professional camera. Now we have a photo that is no worse than that of the models.

We also went to the movies and cafes, where we had a great time. Coming home, the first thing I did was write about my impressions in social network... It was this summer that I discovered that I am good at it, so I'm even going to start my blog someday.

Of course, it's a pity when the summer goes by. However, I have only bright and good memories of the holidays, because I spent them with pleasure and benefit. I hope the school year will be just as enjoyable and productive.

This summer has been interesting. The first month of rest was very much like the previous summer vacation as I was staying in the city. However, the next two summer months turned out to be amazingly interesting for me - I spent them in the village with my aunt. It is with these days spent outside the city that I have the brightest events and lasting impressions of my summer.

I have good friends in the village. We spend all our free time together. In the hottest time, we sit for hours on the bank of the river. After swimming, we frolic with might and main and look at the passing barges. One day, my aunt flew into my head for not coming to dinner. But in fact, I did not want to eat at all, because together with my friend Pashka, we baked potatoes in a fire. It is such a pleasure to transfer hot potatoes from hand to hand, and then break them open and eat them piece by piece. Do you agree that this is not a plate of cooked soup? And most importantly - how much romance and happiness there are in these summer days, as if spent in another world!

I spent summer evenings in a real wooden hut. As a rule, my aunt would be visited by her friends after dinner. Sitting at a large round table, they drank tea. And I was hiding in a large stone stove, or looking at books, or "hitting my thumbs," as my grandmother liked to say. And in truth, I kept a diary, and, like Robinson Crusoe on a desert island, I counted the days remaining until I returned to the city.

Sometimes it occurs to me that a village is an island remote from the city, and life on it follows a different rhythm. Either because of the closeness to nature, or perhaps simply because big cities, in an endless pursuit of technological progress, broke away from a calm measured life. But be that as it may, I am a city man. This means that my place is there. And yet, every time I leave this quiet island of tranquility, I will miss my village.

When I became a schoolgirl, I began to understand all those guys who said that summer is the most best time of the year. Now this is the best time for me, because summer is coming for us school break... True, they flew very quickly, but there is something to remember. I will recount my memories in an essay about how I spent the summer.

How I spent summer

My summer passed merrily and unnoticed. First I went to the village. My cousins and sisters also came there to see my grandparents. That's where the fun was. I didn't even want to sleep for a long time. Woke up at dawn and ran to play. But they didn’t play all day, because there was always work for everyone in the village, so I had to help my grandmother. Most of all I liked the time after the rain. We ran through the puddles - it's so interesting, but even more interesting, walking with grandparents into the forest to pick mushrooms. We brought so many mushrooms that then my grandmother spent the whole evening preparing them for the winter. Now we will feast on mushrooms in winter.

Then I will continue my topic: How I spent my summer. In the middle of July, my parents picked me up and we went to the sea. Sea. I love him very much. This sand, beach, pebbles and shells. In a word, from there I brought many souvenirs, some of which I have already thrown into my aquarium with fish.

The rest flew as usual in the city. Every day we played with friends and girlfriends, on weekends we went to entertainment centers, to theaters and cinemas.

During the holidays, every day I tried to read and rewrite texts so as not to lose the skills acquired in the first grade and now, with new strength and emotions, I moved on to the second grade on September 1, where I will receive new knowledge and will again wait for the long-awaited summer.
