Hello everybody! I rested in this hotel in March-April 2017. In a word - I'm satisfied! There are a lot of reviews about Phuket and the hotel in particular, so I will add only a few of my impressions. 1). Hotel. The rooms are good clean and comfortable. The main reason why we go to Thailand is the sea. Here you almost jump into it from the balcony. This is the main advantage of the hotel. But this is a minus, civilization is far away. Patong and all entertainment can only be reached by transport. But! 2 times a day there is a free bus from the hotel back and forth (and a couple of times for a fee - 50 baht). You can just go shopping in the heat of the moment and come back, so the morning and evening beach stay with us. But so good, quiet and calm! The staff is polite and attentive. Russian-speaking hotel guide available. Once they forgot to put a towel when cleaning the room. He said at the reception - they brought it quickly. He cracked a glass - during the eviction for the fight, the dishes were not subtracted. Yes, which is good - they do not take a deposit upon check-in!. 2). Food (took one breakfast) liked it. Very varied, every morning a couple of soups (spicy and regular), potatoes, rice, noodles, scrambled eggs, salads, vegetables, greens. Bananas, watermelons, pineapples. Who complains about scarcity - so mango and durian will not be served at the hotel. And in general, who scolds food - disingenuous. At home for breakfast and a tenth of this does not happen. Maybe someone in the cafe eats or the cook cooks, again he is disingenuous, he will rest in another place. 3). Currency exchange only in Patong. Do not change at the airport and hotel, not profitable. It is best in exchangers (exchangjah) and do not run around the city in search of the best exchange rate, the difference is very insignificant (well, you will gain 100 re from the whole exchange, for this you will go to the ends of the earth?). 4). Recreational features. The last time I was in Thailand was 4 years ago. Prices have changed a lot! There was 1 ruble = 1 baht, it became 2 to 1. And prices have risen significantly. So forget about Thailand as a budget holiday. I was left with the impression that resting in Europe is no longer very expensive. So we go only for the exotic. Shopping is also not worth it, some branded items are not cheaper than in Russia (more precisely, I'm talking about Moscow). You can buy latex pillows, towels, fruits, souvenirs. Well, that's all. 5). Bike rental. Worth it if you want to move freely. But the police catch all the time! I drove without category A in the rights, a fine of 500 baht, but you drive further all this day (they give something like a scribble-indulgence, and other traffic cops let go). In total, the territory of Jung Ceylon exceeds 20,000 meters. Not far from the Tri Trang Beach Resort is one of the largest observation decks on the island of Kata Karon. You can come here by car or by motorbike, which can be rented at a price of only 200-300 baht per day, including a full tank of gasoline. It is also worth visiting Kathu Falls, the surroundings of which are well equipped for families. Booking hotels in the Kathu area will be a good solution for almost every tourist. This part of the island has the best beaches and a calm atmosphere of exotic carelessness. But all the nightlife can be enjoyed in nearby Patong, where there are plenty of nightclubs, bars, show restaurants and cafes.

If you think that all the beaches near Patong are noisy and not suitable for family and cozy holidays, you are mistaken. Tri Trang Beach is exactly the place that attracts calm and peace-loving travelers.
Tri Trang Beach in Phuket is not the quietest beach on the island, but it is the only one so close to the central party place on the island. Here you can hide from the hustle and bustle of the day, and in the evening you will plunge into its world of entertainment. On the map, Tri Trang Beach is located to the left of Patong.
The locals call it Tritrang, Three Tra and Emerald Beach, among Russian tourists the name Three Trang is firmly entrenched.
The beach itself is small, only 700 meters long, but its width directly depends on the tidal phenomena of Phuket, since Tri Trang Beach is quite tidal. 
The sand here is light, with shades of yellow and quite fine. You will never find garbage on it (unless you search hard). 
There are not so many tourists here, despite the proximity to the central beach of the island, and they are mostly Russian vacationers. Entrance to the water and shore
The water here is turquoise and its color directly depends on whether the tide is low or high.
The entry into the water is gentle and even, if the tide is high, you can swim and not only splash in the water, but also swim, but when the tide begins, the sea recedes quite far and in order to get to the depth you have to walk a long time. 
The width of the coastline also depends on the tide and low tide, at high tide it is about 40–50 meters, and at low tide it increases several times. 
The second unpleasant feature is the presence of sharp stones, small shells and dead corals at the bottom. You can feel these objects with your feet at low tide, since they are concentrated far from the coast, and when the water leaves, you have to cross this place. For this reason, we do not recommend swimming too far at high tide, so as not to injure your legs out of ignorance.
Swimming is better on the right side of the beach.
There are no waves on Tri Trang, because the deep bay reliably protects from winds blowing from the sea, so even summer is relatively calm here. 
The combination of calm water, shallow and sandy bottom near the shore makes the beach an ideal place to relax with a child.
Beach infrastructure
Despite the ban on the installation of sun loungers, you can rent sun loungers here (at least it was possible before), since there is a hotel on the shore, the rental price is 100 baht, but there are no piles in several rows, and there’s nothing to it is here. 
All amenities are located within the hotel, or rather, on the road leading to the beach. Both shower and toilet are paid.
Tri Trang is not the noisiest beach and there are not very many entertainments here, but those that are there are more than enough to relax:
- banana ride;
- kayak rental;
- snorkeling;
- scooter riding.
Naturally, if you get bored, you can always go to Patong, where there is a lot more such goodness.
It is worth noting that for people who are looking for a swing on the beach in Phuket, it is simply necessary to visit this place, as there are several points with impromptu swings that can withstand even an adult man. 
There is a shadow on the beach and it is natural, created due to the abundance of casuarina and palm trees.
Infrastructure
Being within walking distance (about 20 minutes) is a big plus, but if you don’t want to go to such a “distance”, there are several Thai fast food establishments on Tri Trang Beach, as well as a restaurant at the hotel.
Prices are comparable to Patong, but some goods will be cheaper.

For only 700 baht, you can be with him in the water and take a few photos as a souvenir, as well as shoot a video. If you get bored of sunbathing and swimming, you can move to the opposite side of the island, exactly opposite Tri Trang there is a cozy little bay where the Merelin Beach (Merelin Beach) is located. Although it is spread out, it is too loud to say, it is only 150 meters long, but the place is incredibly picturesque, and primarily because of the coral reef, which is located a little to the left of the beach.

How to get there
