5. Holiday World (Santa Claus, Indiana, USA)

This park features a variety of holiday themes. He has not one, but three of the top ten best wooden roller coasters.

6. Knoebel’s Amusement Resort (Elizburg, Pennsylvania, USA)

This park has great wooden roller coasters, one of the best dark rides in the world, and one of the few carousels where you can spin slowly and win a free ride. Well, it’s a small thing - but it’s nice!

7. Liseberg (Gothenburg, Sweden)

The wooden slide "Balder" is the best slide in the whole world. Walking through the Hotel Gasten (ghost hotel) will give you a truly terrifying experience.

10. Tripsdrill (Clebronn, Germany)

Clever themes, fun rides and the obligatory little surprises in the form of the Bathtub Flume and Vinarium (wine museum).

11. Disney's Sea (Tokyo, Japan)

No cookie-cutter castles or Main Street - this is Disney's unique water park experience. Absolutely amazing theme.

12. Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios (Orlando, Florida)

Another park with the right mix of mind-blowing rides and fairy tale themes. Particularly interesting to visit are the Dr. Seuss and Harry Potter areas (we recommend trying butter beer there).

If you're looking for something completely unique:

1. Bon-Bon Land (Holm-Ulstrup, Denmark)

This park continues to make people laugh, as does the sweets factory on its territory. Here you can buy Hundeprutte candies, which are made both salty and sweet and sour, and also take a ride on the Hundeprutte Rutschebanen slide (literally translated “Dog Fart”).

2. Ferrari World (Abu Dhabi, UAE)
