Since its appearance, Atlantis has literally exploded the Pattaya real estate market - or rather, the rental market. Short-term tourists, especially with children, wanted and continue to demand Atlantis without variations, and those who spend the winter in Pattaya or even live long-term are happy to settle in cramped rooms - let’s be honest! - Atlantis apartments. We will figure out why Atlantis is so attractive and whether it is worth considering it as a housing option if you are going to Pattaya on vacation or for the winter.

Pool

Without a doubt, the main secret of Atlantis's success is its swimming pool. And although today it is difficult to surprise people with a lagoon-type pool in Pattaya - here you have Lagoons, Seven Seas, Amazon, etc. - Atlantis was still the first - well, okay, there were already Paradise Park and Park Lane, but everything is more modest there, which is why he collected all the cream of the lease.

The pool is, indeed, both impressive and beautiful: lagoon-shaped, with sleeves and pools,

with jacuzzi bays, slides, shallow and deep areas,

with direct access to the water from some ground floor apartments,

as well as a separate children's area a la mini-water park.

Here's the thing: today the children's water park is in a deplorable state: it is all rusted, and although the management company threatens to repair it, for now the slides and mushrooms stand sadly in the middle of the water without visitors. In general, I believe that they will repair it, the question is when. Now, for example, the famous ship, which was supposed to be ready at the end of August, is being repaired, but is still in blue film. I still hope that the issue will be resolved by the season. In the photo below - Anfisa and the children's area 4 months after the project was completed

and in September 2017.

Otherwise, the pool is maintained in very good condition, which is still surprising to me personally: in many projects, problems with pools are commonplace. The water is clean and doesn’t smell particularly bad of chlorine – that’s also a big plus. However, of course, there are nuances. In my opinion, the following:

  1. Water temperature. The water in the pool is always cold, even in the hottest time of the year (April-May). This is due to the fact that a significant part of the pool is constantly in the shade of the five buildings of the project, which is why it does not warm up. I know that many people just love “refreshing” water. Then this is your option.
  2. Coverage on site. The entire area around the pool is covered with artificial turf. On the one hand, it’s convenient: the grass doesn’t get hot, and it’s not hot to walk on it barefoot. On the other hand, the coating quickly gets wet from the water that wet swimmers carry out of the pool. Result: it squishes underfoot. It's not a big problem, of course. Initially, I was worried about the question of how they would clean this covering, because garbage and stuff gets stuck between the blades of grass - just on the way. But I must admit that after three years my fears were not confirmed: the grass looks decent and does not stink. Great.
  3. Free couches. Of course, many thanks for them. However, there are catastrophically few couches - given the number of apartments in the complex - about 1000 - there are none at all, because Atlantis is perfectly populated at any time of the year, and during the season and on weekends it is generally sold out. So all 15 couches that we have are selling out very quickly. Of course, you can rest on mats and towels, but keep in mind that the covering is wet - see above.

By and large, I have nothing more to add about the pool, except that on my first visit to the complex two and a half years ago, it really shocked me. If you're not used to tropical beauty and blue pools in your backyard at any time of the year, you'll be even more shocked. So you can fall in love with Atlantis just after one swimming pool.

Complex infrastructure

If the pool is not enough for some, then Atlantis has a very well-equipped gym on the top floor of building E (the main building facing Second Jomtien). Also, don’t forget about the children’s water park and the common area near the pool - it is surrounded by greenery and abounds in shady corners, bridges, etc. Barbecue areas were initially planned on the roofs of the buildings, but let's be realistic: what kind of barbecue is covered with artificial grass? So you can just go up there and look at the city and its surroundings: the view is excellent.

Location

If living on the first line from the sea is not an end in itself for you, then Atlantis is perhaps the best option in the surrounding area. Because there are 500 meters to the sea in a straight line, and you can walk through the territory of the Welcome Jomtien Hotel (in the photo below - from the roof of building E),

without fear of traffic scurrying past (this is Second Jomtien, a large road that runs parallel to the sea and which you will have to cross to get to the sea and tuk-tuks).

You can, in principle, go down to the sea along Watbun: this is a nice, quite busy and narrow street, which is filled with cafes, massage parlors, laundries and other joys of Thai resort life.

Public transport in the form of tuk-tuks for 10 baht goes along the sea, so you will also have to walk a bit to get there.

There is a store in Atlantis itself 7/11 , which completely covers all immediate needs - from beer to a toothbrush, plus there is an Italian restaurant, also quite decent. Relatively recently, several cafes opened right across the road from the complex, and two Thai markets with food and fruit - on Watbun and Jomtien Beach Road - can easily be reached on foot in about 10 minutes maximum.

Developer

A few words about the project developer – i.e. about those who built it. This is a Blue Skies company with Thai capital. In addition to Atlantis, the company has two more projects in Pattaya, both newer than Atlantis. There's the Grande Carribean on Thappraya, right next to the Foodmart and great condo where we once lived, and the Venetian in the fields of Najomtien. Gran Caribbean boasts a simply amazing location and gave up a year ago (2016), but Vinicion has a terrible location and only just gave up. In any case, if Atlantis seems tired to you, I recommend considering these two options as an alternative.

Who is Atlantis suitable for?

I believe that Atlantis is an excellent option for a short vacation, and also, probably, for wintering - primarily for families with children. Why?

There will always be company for your child by the pool. Moreover: I know that residents of the condominium periodically arrange joint trips to Military Beach, ordering a minibus for everyone, which turns out to be cheaper than taking an excursion, and for those who do not have transport, it is definitely very convenient.

What is the price

I won’t be original: in different ways. It all depends on the length of stay and the season. Atlantis started at an obscene 25,000 baht per month for a one-bedroom apartment - however, for the New Year period, plus at that time it was the only condominium with such a huge pool. Then the price dropped thousands to 18,000 baht per month.

As a result, now for long contracts (one year), the average temperature in the hospital is from 12,000 baht.

Accordingly, for a short period of time and in the season, 15,000-18,000 is still a reality, although here it is imperative to carefully check the condition of the apartment: using photographs, if it is not possible to come see it in person, or ask trusted persons. Because many apartments that are rented for a short period of time are extremely shabby and do not sparkle with glamor. In order not to be upset when you come on vacation, take this point seriously. Well, either compare the cost with the condition.

Regarding the price of a two-bedroom apartment, I can only say that they are massively offering 25 thousand for long-term contracts. I think there are options to negotiate a little cheaper. It will definitely be more expensive in the short term. But here's a spoiler: two-bedroom apartments in Atlantis are surprisingly nice.

pros

Let me summarize the positive points:

  • The location is convenient - it doesn’t matter whether you have your own transport or not.
  • The pool is great! Definitely one of the best in Pattaya, if not the best.
  • Your child of any age will definitely have company for their holiday: the complex is well populated both in season and off-season (but for some this is probably more of a minus than a plus).
  • The complex is fully guarded and security is on duty. Sometimes too much. Entrance to the buildings and passage through the barriers is by smart card.
  • Fitness room, cafe, laundries, 7/11 - everything is nearby. You can, by and large, sit in the complex and not get out anywhere, if you have such a desire.

Minuses

  • One-bedroom apartments in Atlantis are small. I know that many people live there with their families for years and don’t complain, but it’s probably hard. First of all because there are critically few storage systems in apartments: one wardrobe with two doors, also a double-leaf mezzanine in the living room (sometimes household things are stored there - check!), and a couple of small drawers in the bedroom. That's basically it, except for the open shelving in the living room where you can put some little things. There isn't even a place to put a shoe rack. This is not at all critical if you come for two weeks to a month, but if you are considering a project for long-term residence, then you should think about it.
  • Apartment renovation in Atlantis it’s not just not premium, but very cheap. This is a problem in the sense that armchairs quickly wear out and sometimes look extremely unsightly. The laminate is swelling. Door handles are falling off. What else could scare you? Oh, yes: the apron on the stove is made of glass. And this glass cracks when heated. The management company replaced the glass for the owners free of charge for some time, but, accordingly, not everyone had time to do so. So look carefully: if the stove has glass, agree with the owner that if it breaks, it is not your fault.
  • By the way, audibility predictably good. Keep in mind.
  • Another point: 200 parking spaces are declared, but there are not enough of them. Constantly during the season, easier during the off-season, but not globally. Parking only in open-air buildings. Those who do not have enough space leave their cars along Second Jomtien, but even there, in the immediate vicinity of the condominium, how much can you park? In general, there are no problems with parking bikes.
  • Another nuance follows from the parking, namely: apartments on the first floor with windows overlooking the parking lot, and not the pool - and, in fact, on the second floor too - are clearly not the ultimate dream. For my taste, it's still a pleasure. Starting from the third floor, the view of the parking lot is perhaps not so critical. However, apartments on the ground floor facing the pool or directly into the pool are also questionable: firstly, they are predictably dark, and secondly, be prepared for constant movement in front of the windows: someone is walking, then someone is swimming. Well, he looks into your windows, of course.

Bottom line

The disadvantages turned out to be so detailed not because there are more of them or they overshadow the advantages, but so that you can get a more complete picture of the complex.

Excellent location: next to the 7/11 store, a very beautiful swimming pool, it was interesting for a child, close to the market, many cafes, 5-7 minutes walk to the sea, the room had a washing machine (not all rooms have it), as well as everything you need, even a fumigator (for mosquitoes). The room is located on the sixth floor in building D, there are two elevators, the view from the room is to the courtyard, it is a little noisy, but this did not bother us. We cleaned the room 3 times, changed the bed and towels, in general this is a big plus, not all rooms have cleaning service, it’s a small thing, but it’s nice). Free WiFi.

Upon entry, only 1 access card is issued; we usually rent large apartments with 2 bedrooms and for 2-3 adults it is not always convenient to use only 1 card. Suggestion: issue 2 cards for 2bedroom apartment.

The Atlansis apartment complex is a good place to relax with children. The photographs of the apartments and grounds are accurate. We come every year, 1-2 times for 2-4 weeks, and stay in this complex. It should be noted that the area is well-groomed, the pools are clean, pleasant changes have taken place since the last trip: the children's area of the pool has been updated, access to the pool has been closed for outsiders, and water dispensers have been installed.

This is no longer about the place of residence, but in general about Pattaya. You need to go to the islands to swim, which takes 1 hour 30 minutes - 2 hours. The water in the city is dirty and sometimes smelly. To get to the place where resort life is going on, you need to walk to the sea for about 10 minutes, then take a Tuk Tuk for 10 minutes. To get to the center of Pattaya (Walking street), it takes 20-25 minutes. The apartment has an uncomfortable sofa for a third person, it is very uncomfortable to sleep, because... it is not straight and skewed. There was no comfortable sleep, rather a room for two. Please note that a cleaning fee upon departure will be added to the price. Indicated in the detailed information in the description when booking your place. Please change the sofa)

Excellent quiet place, with excellent territory. A huge cool pool with decorations, a slide, a waterfall, a jacuzzi, and a children's area. An ideal quiet place for couples with children. The condominium has a 24-hour grocery store. The owners of the apartment responded to our requests. The room has kitchenware and a small kitchen with a stove and microwave. If you go to the sea by tuk tuk, about 7 minutes walk there is an excellent cafe "White Parrot", the prices are quite inexpensive and the portions are very large, for example, a giant tuna salad, a pleasant and inexpensive Fish and cheaps dish. In general, I liked everything, a quiet, pleasant place with a shop and a cafe nearby. All liked it. Thank you.

The big problem is with the sofa in the room, it’s almost impossible to sleep on it, it’s all squashed. Another point that I would like to pay attention to is the replacement of linen. She simply doesn't exist. Keep this in mind if you are traveling for a long time.

I agree with everyone, the pool is simply great for vacationers with children. Maximum depth 1.3m. The price/quality ratio is excellent. 5 minutes from the fruit market and from the sea. There is a washing machine.

“The holiday was a great success!”

The biggest problem was communication with the owner of the apartment. Receives messages on WhatsApp, but does not respond. There is also silence on letters. As a result, until the last minute I was worried about how the check-in would go. As a result, until I bought a local SIM card and called, everything was up in the air. Upon arrival at the condo, her assistant came to us, showed us the apartment, and explained everything. Brought the missing bed linen. But as they say, a sediment remains. The folding sofa is just a quiet horror. The whole place is polluted by vacationers who are too lazy to take off their wet clothes and sit on it. I had to cover it with a sheet. It is physically impossible for a person heavier than 20 kg to sleep on this sofa, as the stuffing has long been pressed into it and the frame can be felt with it. Even the small mattress that was in the apartment does not help. I think this is the problem with all these sofas, as I read a lot of bad reviews about them. Fortunately, our child is light and seemed to sleep normally. Be sure to take this point into account, as you will have to decide it locally. There were large cockroaches from time to time. But you need to understand that you are going to Asia and here you can’t live without them)))) The first time they screwed up themselves - they opened the balcony door, apparently he snuck in from there. The second time after the rain I made my way out of the shower, it looks like I climbed through the sewer. I had to close the drain holes. I had to tweak some things for a comfortable stay, but I always have various small things with me, so nothing caused much discomfort.

Nice condo for the price with a huge pool. The owners have several apartments; we were accommodated in C318 (building C). We stayed during the low season, so there weren’t many people on the premises and in the pool; during peak months there were a lot of Chinese people speaking. The complex is fully guarded, there are parking lots on the territory, everything is under video surveillance, access to the buildings and the pool is via electronic cards. There is a 7/11 market in the condo, across the road is Welkom Jomtien Lane, where there are a lot of cafes and massage parlors. There is a food market within a 10-minute walk (the Thais stock up there themselves: crabs 350-380, shrimp 200-300), they sell food and fruit. 5 minutes to the sea at a leisurely pace. The apartment itself (and they are the same throughout the condo) consists of a studio kitchen and a bedroom with a toilet/bathroom. The apartment has 2 air conditioners. We had a view of the forest, because you can’t call it a garden. Just a forest behind a fence. The apartment was fully equipped with dishes and household appliances. There are no complaints about the bed in the bedroom, but the folding sofa is a quiet horror (more on that below). The apartment has tiled floors and is a little cold due to the air conditioning. Each apartment has a small balcony, but in order to be on it you need to turn off the air conditioning. The apartments have washing machines. All equipment was in good working order and everything worked. There were no problems with drainage in the toilet, shower, or kitchen sink. The apartment has normal internet (ADSL). There is also Wi-Fi in the pool, but we still haven’t figured out where to get the password for it. The pool is clean, huge, several zones with different depths. There is a small children's complex, there are jacuzzi areas throughout the pool, although only one worked normally. I have one slide for adults, but it’s kind of a bit weak. Samoto pool area for photo shoots!

Of course it's time for some touch up and updating, but overall one of the best condominiums.

We come to Atlantis for the second time and are very pleased. This time we took a two-bedroom condo. The pool is clean, there is a fruit market nearby (mangoes for 35 baht per kg). It is very convenient that there is a stove and a washing machine.

Atlantis Condo resort: a year and a half later.

Initially, we were looking for room B110 (my parents lived in it on our last trip) with access to the children's pool area through the lawn. Firstly, it’s convenient, and secondly, you’re already familiar with the room and know what to expect when you check in. Unfortunately, the second point turned out to be almost one hundred percent theory; in practice, everything was different.
When booking, the approximate time of arrival was indicated. The keys were in the mailbox so there was no need to meet us. A little later, a young man arrived who immediately indicated that he was not the owner, but was only moving in. By the way, he apparently doesn’t solve any questions (he listens, nods, promises to clarify..., but we didn’t get any results. Even simple answers). Basically, the impression was that he had either just started working with the owner of this apartment (more precisely, two apartments, + Rent B812, but more on that a little later), or he was simply replacing someone. Not a single issue regarding our apartment was resolved.
Pros:
- The room was booked through Bukin, but from the owner, and not through the Condo management company or realtors. Accordingly, the price was two times lower than a year and a half ago. At the same time, the booking conditions were incredibly attractive, which at some point raised some doubts about the reality of this offer. I would like to note right away that we did not have any problems with payment and check-in/accommodation. Bukin/Owner withdrew from the card the amount indicated in the column: 100% of payment.
- I would like to draw your attention to the moment of conversion. The payment amount is indicated in baht (and is charged in baht at the current exchange rate), and the amount in rubles is also indicated. But they will withdraw more than the specified number ₽ from the card. So banks calculate as follows: ruble to dollar, dollar to baht (or vice versa). For us it turned out to be about a 3-4% plus to the amount of payment in rubles.
- cleaning (once a week) is not included in the price. For me this is a definite plus, as I consider it a useless waste. I can wash the floors myself, but replacing towels and bed linen doesn’t cost that much money;
- A huge plus is the appearance of a washing machine (with vertical loading). For the entire stay, water was paid immediately (1000 baht for 15 days). By the way, I was very pleased with the machine (9 programs: from 28 to 54 minutes. You can change/add/exclude something else there, but we didn’t use it) on the P9 (28 minutes) when fully loaded, everything is clean without any complaints. Spinning is more like drying, which is a fabulous bonus in this climate. The dryer was on the balcony and everything dried perfectly overnight. The only BUT: after the rain, we still had to move it to an apartment under air conditioning due to high humidity;
- There was a water dispenser at the entrance. Very convenient and economical. 6 liters - 4 baht. The water there is warm and... not tasty (even if cooled). A little advice: when you go to get water, look at the machine’s screen or just place your bottle and press the button. In most cases, there was paid water left that was not included (although for the sake of clarity of conscience I recommend waiting a few minutes. Suddenly the previous user ran for an empty container). Take 1 baht coins and an extra empty bottle of 0.5-1.5 liters with you. Drop the coins gradually, not all at once. The machine in housing B overflows. (In the neighboring building (according to the residents), on the contrary, there is not enough water;
- On the plus side, I would also like to note the presence of two keys to the apartment, but there is still only one magnetic key to the central entrance to the building.
Cons... unfortunately there are many of them.
- We never received an additional set of bed linen + pillows and a blanket (for the sofa). For some reason there were 4-5 towels. In Big C and Tesco, prices for bedding destroyed us with their inaccessibility (relative to price/quality), so we made do with buying inexpensive fleece (200x80 cm for 200 baht/piece);
- Internet: Wi-fi appeared from time to time after a week, but it was of no use to anyone. And no one cared. The presence of free wi-fi was indicated when booking the apartment as a mandatory option. To our bitter disappointment, wi-fi (aka the elusive bakuri) did not work normally for a single day... From time to time it illuminated us with its unexpected appearance, but then mysteriously disappeared into nowhere. In this regard, we sang songs of praise to Thai mobile operators, whose Internet works beyond all praise everywhere, except... what location do you think? That's right, our number 110, where 3G barely streamed videos from YouTube. Here it’s worth addressing the ubiquitous and extremely important BUT: the video only works near windows and on the balcony. At the dinner table, the hope of watching the video died immediately;
- And all this against the backdrop of the absence of Russian TV channels (like a year and a half ago). Out of hopelessness (on the fifth day) we started playing news/shows in Thai in the background. After about ten minutes it seemed to us that we understood this beautiful, melodic and completely unfamiliar language;
- Safe. He is no longer there and there is no use asking him. To be fair, I note that when booking a room on Bukin, this option was not available;
- More than just an unpleasant aftertaste was left from the lack of hot water. If this seemed like a whim to you, then here’s a small addition for you - there’s no warm one either. At all. Only cool. At times it seemed to me that the water in the pool was warmer than in the shower. As a result, the words of the kindest cat Leopold were more relevant than ever: “We will survive this trouble.” And they survived. With terrible discomfort, but we survived;
- The cleanliness of the apartment leaves much to be desired. The first impression is the most ordinary unkemptness. It seems clean, but... . The second impression is shocking when you pay attention to the chairs, sofa and curtains... all this does not just require cleaning, but rather replacement. I won’t write anything more about this, because I don’t have the slightest desire to choose/choose words too carefully (as for the cleanliness of bed linen and towels, there are no complaints here);
- This is a problem. The presence of a plunger immediately alerted me... and for good reason. There are no complaints about the kitchen sink and toilet, but the sink in the bathroom and the drains on the floor in the bathroom/toilet are a nightmare! The water in the sink takes at least an hour (and its volume is tiny. Only one person can wash/brush their teeth). In the shower, the slope of the floor is reversed; the water does not go into the drain hole, but accumulates in the opposite direction. The same applies to the toilet flush. Since the partition between the shower and toilet is narrow, water naturally flows throughout the entire bathroom, and due to the incorrect slope, this water runs into the bedroom;
- Dishes. Plates/mugs/forks/spoons - yes. But the pots/pans... they seem to be there, but they’re not there. It is unlikely to fry something unburned in a frying pan “a la WOK” - it is in a completely sad state. The large saucepan originally stood under the sink and gave off the smell of a mopping bucket (which, by the way, is not there). There is also a small “saucepan-ladle”; it is the only one that inspired confidence. If you are going to cook yourself, then first go to the mini market for household goods, etc. From the condo towards the center to the ring and up along the right side. It's not far from a condo and the prices are reasonable for "disposable" kitchen utensils that you don't mind leaving behind;
- The refrigerator is fine, but the freezer has character. Ice from 7/11 remains ice, but we couldn’t freeze anything. Bacon, for example, did not freeze in two days;
- The chairs on the balcony are complete... another sadness. I don't understand why they are still there? It is absolutely impossible to sit on them. The backs of the chairs sagged and were held together only by torn wire braiding. The gate is not just covered in rust, it is dying a slow and painful death. By the way, it is only held on by the upper hinge, so be careful. The latch also changed color from black to red. Although if you are traveling with kids, this will be a definite plus for you and you can be sure that the children will not run into the pool. Because opening the gate is problematic even for an adult, but for a small child it is simply unrealistic.

In general, when booking this apartment, be prepared for a lack of silence. The pool is open from 09:00 to 21:00, but this does not mean that during the remaining 12 hours there will be no swimmers (this happens rarely, but is quite noisy and impressive). If you are annoyed by the enthusiastic squeals of children, as well as the endless running of parents and the same children from all over the condo (more reminiscent of Brownian movement), if you are not prepared that the majority of bored vacationers within a radius of 15 meters (and others passing by) will look at your balcony (and its filling up to the clothes on the dryer) then this apartment is not your option.
But if you are traveling with children (especially with toddlers), then this option is still worth considering. Similar rooms nearby cost 10-30 tr. more expensive and the owners don't speak Russian. The Germans usually live in the next room, and the Chinese always live diagonally. Now I write exclusively about similar apartments with access to the children's pool area through the lawn.
Many rooms have access to the pool from the balcony. I didn’t live, I don’t know. In my opinion, such apartments will be convenient for guests without small children and for those who spend a minimum of time in the apartment during the day, but like to cool off in a cool pool and swim in the silence of the night.

I am sure that the situation with the B812 is a pure coincidence, but not writing about it would be a crime.
Ten hours of travel is incredibly exhausting. The body and mind require certain algorithms to be followed: relax, take a shower, lie in bed for a few minutes. Each of us has our own “wants”. But I very much doubt that a person (even for a moment) could immediately have the desire to grab a broom and a floor rag in order to be able to walk barefoot, wash dishes... just to be able to eat and drink tea, sort through luggage in search of what they brought Bring towels with you, because the choice between sleeping on a terrible sofa with a clean bed or a huge bed with dirty bed linen is obvious.
There is a washing machine that categorically refused to make life easier. Instead, she organized a boycott and dumped all the water on the floor of the balcony, which forced her to forget about it.
The apartment was, of course, later cleaned, although this was no longer relevant. They also brought bed sheets/towels. But settling into this cesspool after a ten-hour journey (flight, customs, transfer) was... let there be an ellipsis here, because none of us could find even a remotely suitable definition for these emotions.
But in general the apartment is more well-kept than B110.
P.S. The plunger from B110, the day after the arrival, spent most of the time working on the toilet B812.

Most likely we will never return here again. Yes, very convenient location (both condo and apartment). Near 7/11 and hypermarkets (Tesco and Big C). Night market nearby. Morning seafood market. There are at least two cafes within walking distance with good food, service and affordable prices. Everything seems to be good, but it’s at least half as good as last year.

P.S.
The children's area has been replaced and is now safer;
There seems to be less garbage in the “green” zone;
At 7/11 you can connect to unlimited Internet for a week or a month. Gestures help you because English is not their strong point. Maybe there was such a shift;
There are only two working massage zones left;
The connections on the white slide came apart (if your spine is problematic, it’s better to ride while sitting).

Massage.
Last time I recommended the White Salon. Forget it like a bad dream. The service died from the complete indifference of the staff.
But the massage on the beach (black umbrellas) was a very pleasant surprise. Especially the woman with number 134 (rudely, of course, but they are all numbered there). The foot massage is simply divine. This is not just physical pleasure, but also incredible emotional relaxation. One bad thing: it only works during the day. For this reason, you can always agree with her about a time the next day (or whenever necessary). She will be free in at least 15 minutes and will wait the same amount if you are late. The price is higher than in salons: 300 baht, but it's worth it.

The salon is from the condo down to the end of the street on the right side (the “lots of shoes at the entrance” factor was decisive:
- First of all, I would like to note that there are very powerful air conditioners there. If you are afraid of drafts, then choose your locations carefully. In the foot massage room, these are the first two chairs directly under the air conditioning. Although if you are cold, they will wrap you in blankets;
- I found the perfect master here named Tut. In the photo album you will find the spelling of her name in Thai and a photo. After her massage, my legs were always light, and I was well-rested.

Excursions.
Just like last time, we took it from Maxim at OlegTur. We have nothing to write about them except words of gratitude.

Food:
“Crocodile” is the same as it was a year and a half ago. Tasty, inexpensive and comfortable. Kiki is still there and still surrounds everything with care.
Cafe "St. Petersburg".
The cuisine is Russian. See the menu in the photo album. Delivery. Walking distance from the condo is about 15 minutes.
The impression is ambiguous. I'll start from the very beginning. It’s very hot there (the fans are clearly there for beauty, not for comfort), the service in a practically empty room is a C-minus (many ridiculous mistakes: they brought a glass of juice instead of a liter, they messed something up in the kitchen. And naturally it all remains on the table and in the bill. On our first visit, almost all the dishes had a clear excess of garlic. The solyanka was not made with meat broth, but apparently with a broth made from olives. Apart from them, nothing was felt. The dumplings turned out to be inedible. I’ll leave the tongue in sour cream sauce with garlic no comments. These were the minuses, and now about the pluses: potatoes with meat, dumplings, pies.... mmmmm! And the most luxurious thing is kvass!!! They have it there and it’s quite good. And what a library they have! A sea of books for everyone taste. You can take it with you and return it later.
There is free delivery, which is very convenient. Fortunately, the garlic disappeared from the dishes the next time we ordered.

Hypermarkets:
Big C and Tesco.
The best time to go there for groceries is in the evening. And there are fewer people and higher discounts (this is about chilled products).

Parents of boys should pay attention to radio-controlled cars (we haven't looked at girls' toys). Exactly the same ones at the festival cost one and a half times more;

I was amazed by the gigantism of the packaging. The boxes look like 300 grams, but in fact they are 80-90 grams (this applies to cookies, sweets, breakfasts);

Otherwise, it’s a very ordinary hypermarket where you can find everything you need for your stay.

The only thing we couldn’t find there were the usual notebooks for elementary school. Even ordinary thin checkered ones. See all finds in the photo album.
But the office pleased me with its diversity. The prices are really steep, but this is in comparison with those in Irkutsk.

Tesco near Terminal 21.
More precisely, a sports store of the Decathlon chain.
Mine were looking for a mask (see photo). At the markets they only sell glasses + a pipe (200-300 baht). At the festival the price for this mask is 1700 or a little more. Decathlon has 800 (I don’t dare to say that they are the same).
As for clothes, the prices are slightly lower than on the website of the Moscow store (curiosity forced me to compare).

If you are with children, then go to the slot machines (behind the escalators). The children will be delighted. 10 baht per attraction.

Terminal 21.
The whole shopping center is an amazing photo zone!
There are several photos in the album, but I recommend Googling more detailed information (fortunately there is plenty of it)

In terms of shopping, I was only interested in children's stores. Not very many of them.
The first store captivated me with its displays of car models. The price is steep, but I want to buy everything at once (see photo). And your age/gender/hobbies are completely unimportant.

A store with robots, quadcopters, etc. (if I’m not mistaken, they are nearby). The selection + price is much better compared to other stores. Plus a Russian-speaking employee.

Fast food.
Carl's Jr (Terminal 21). If it's a hamburger, that's it. Don't rape your taste buds with McDuck and King.

Night market.
Everything here is the same as before: an abundance of various hundred-ruble goods.
Clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc.
But now it’s problematic to bargain with them. Minus 10 baht-ok, and when they hear 30 they simply lose interest and stop conducting dialogue. It was somehow more fun before.

This time the “edible” rows seemed more diverse, but I didn’t want pizza, and the sushi/rolls didn’t inspire confidence. See the photos for the rest (selection/prices).
