Szklarska Poreba is a city in Poland, part of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Elenegursky District. It has the status of a city commune. It occupies an area of ​​75.42 km². The population is 8 thousand people. Szklarska Poręba was the site of the 1925 Winter Workers' Olympiad.

The new cable car "Karkonoshi Express" was opened in 2010. It is the longest and most modern structure of its kind in Poland. Its length is 2393 m. Skiers reach the top in just eight and a half minutes.

The resort offers ski slopes for skiers of various qualifications. Everyone will find something for themselves. Experts will be happy to ride the 2080 meter long FIS “Stena” track, whose inclination in some places is even 50%. The longest track - Lolobrigita has a length of more than 4400 meters.
