My wife and I discovered just an amazing place for recreation at the Taulu camp site, got there quite by accident, it so happened that the places we had booked at another base were given to others by mistake, we had to look for another place, so we ended up at the Taulu camp site while we were skating it was already dark, we were very good-naturedly received, fed, watered with tea and put to bed. In the morning we got up, went out into the street, just super: there is a forest around, a river nearby, the birds are singing. We had breakfast, then we went for a walk in the woods, while we went picking up mushrooms and berries. We had a great rest in general, I didn't even want to leave. We are planning now also for New Year go ...

A great place to relax away from civilization. If you love mountains and rest in Spartan conditions, then the tourist base "Taulu", located in the Arkhyz mountains, is exactly what you need. Stunning mountain landscapes and good-natured hospitable hosts make up the first and most important impression of this tourist base... On the territory of the base there is a shop-cafe where you can eat very tasty and inexpensively. Most of all I liked the khychiny with potatoes and cheese. After a hearty meal, you can shake up the fat by going on an independent walk in the mountains to admire the incredible beauty of nature. We went to this one. We did not climb very high, it’s hard to stomp upward, forcing our way through thickets of bushes and other vegetation. But we ate mountain raspberries and took pictures against the backdrop of wild nature. We liked!

The main advantages of this camping are water, it can be taken directly from the Psysh River (for several years no one had any "problems"), the shade of tall fir trees, it is easy to collect brushwood for a fire. Here you can also book an excursion to local attractions or just ask about tourist routes... For all our stay and leaving "property" unattended, nothing was stolen, although it certainly depends on you and me! In addition to a heap of pleasant memories, you can also make wonderful friends! There are no bad people in the mountains!

It was warm in the room, which, undoubtedly, pleases, but in our house there was no kitchen at all, it is in another house, we had to walk with our own along the street to warm up or cook food. The only fridge / kettle is in the corridor and is common for the entire floor. Otherwise a great room for a good price.

We rested at the end of December-January 17-18. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful - the smells of a fire, mountains, pine trees, rivers, snow. We were settled in a small, cozy room, but the main joy was that the room turned out to be very warm, and this is very important after long hours of riding. It is worth noting the pluses: a large comfortable shared kitchen (albeit in another house), location, proximity to a good food restaurant on the territory of the Eagle's Nest guest houses (common gate, 2 minutes walk), the hostess Rose, a rather nice woman, goes to a meeting, and solves problems according to his possibilities. In general, everything suited us, we were satisfied!
