We returned from the hotel after a holiday with family a few days ago. General impression- wonderful! This is our third visit to Mallorca. Previously, we stayed at hotels of the Iberostar and Prinsotel chains on the northern coast and I can say that Insotel is also a decent chain. The rooms are excellent, spacious for a family of 4. I can’t help but note the amazing soundproofing: there was a bar for adults under our windows, where live music was played several times a week. You can't hear anything with the balcony door closed! Therefore, if you sleep with air conditioning, don’t worry about your children’s sleep. If with open door balcony - then yes, there will be audibility, of course. We lived in building A and find it to be the most convenient if you plan to spend most of your time at the beach rather than at the pool. Water park inBuilding C of the hotel is small, but quite interesting for children. Vacationers actually take up the sun loungers at all the pools in all buildings very early. We came to the pool around 17:00 after the beach - at this time it was already full. Cala Mandia beach is located next to building A. It is quite wide for a bay with a gentle entry into the sea, but there are waves quite often there, so we kept going to another beach. Cala Anguila. The shortest way to get there is to climb the stairs, which are located on the left side of Cala Mandia beach. Walk for 10 minutes at a slow pace. If you are with a stroller, then it is more convenient to follow the road immediately to the right from the reception, walk past the villas and turn right at the restaurant. The time will also be approximately. This bay seemed more picturesque to us, and the water there was cleaner (without algae at all). But it is also more popular, there are more people there. To get to Cala Romantica beach it is not very convenient to walk uphill and then up the stairs. You can just take a walk there in the evening. Also a nice bay. It will be to the right of Cala Mandia. The food at the hotel is varied. Everything was delicious in our opinion. My son really liked the local soups during lunch, but my daughter didn't like them. Everyone has different tastes. My husband and I liked everything :) Fast food is usually available in any hotel. The only question is whether your children only eat it if it is available, or whether they are indifferent to it. As was already said in the previous review, there is no children’s food for children at all, although a huge number of Europeans vacationing there were in the restaurant with small children. There are queues for lunch and dinner if you come at the so-called most popular times. But this line takes about 10 minutes at most. If you arrive a little earlier, there will be no queues at all, if this is important to someone. All hotel staff are very friendly (from reception to maids). Guests from all countries are treated equally warmly. They try to communicate even in Russian. One of the Italian animators (Anthony) is half Russian. Speaks Russian perfectly. In general, I would like to note all the animators for their attention, sincerity, and smiles. Be sure to take your car to the rental car. There are a couple of offices near the hotel. Mallorca is very beautiful. With every visit to the island we discover new attractions. The hotel itself is in a very quiet place, but it only made us happy. We plan to return to the same hotel next year! P.S. I do not recommend buying tours to building D: Tui only sells to renovated buildings A, B and C. Building D is located far from the beach, and the rooms there are old, so the price for them is much lower.…

Spacious modern rooms with excellent furniture and TVs. The rooms are quite clean with standard beds. Bathrooms are large, but cleaning is not up to standard. The rooms are in poor condition with terrible air conditioning, minibar and kitchenette. Great shower. Great balcony.

Property information

The exterior area is extraordinary. You can relax on one of the 4 sun loungers located in the 30 m2 terrace with direct views to the sea. If you prefer to have an appetiser, take a sit in the 12 m2 porch, completely furnished, and admire the natural landscape. The barbecue will allow you to enjoy cooking by the sea. This home offers accommodation on 220 m2 and has 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed each, wardrobes and fans. There are two bathrooms with a bathtub; One on each floor. We can supply 1 cat in case you need one. The nicely decorated sitting-dining room is perfect to watch satellite television, read a book or have dinner with your friends. The independent kitchen is fully-equipped, including a ceramic hob. You will access the laundry through the second bedroom, and there you will find 1 washer, 1 dryer, 1 iron and 1 ironing board.

Area information

The sea is almost on the doorstep! This extraordinary home has a private access to the sea (cliff) and is only 50m from the sandy beach of Cala Mandia. Portocristo is only 3km away and there you will find a wide range of restaurants, stores, bars and much more. A safari-zoo and playgrounds are also quite close. If nightlife is what you are searching for, in Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada are lots of pubs and discotheques. Portocristo is known for its caves (“Cuevas del Drach”), which have been formed by the Mediterranean Sea. Hidden within the caves is "Llac Mantel", a subterranean lake and along its banks, regularly take place concerts of classical music.
