Preparing for the trip:

Germanwings is a low-cost carrier that offers its passengers cheap flights. But in order not to work at a loss and allow customers to fly at favorable rates, the company must save a lot.

The basic principle of budget flights can be formulated as follows: “ Additional services- at extra charge". Thus, the ticket price does not include food, checked baggage, or special services such as priority boarding and extra legroom. This is great news for those who value savings first and foremost. And those who like to travel with great comfort can purchase exactly the service they need and not spend extra money. You can buy additional Germanwings services when booking your flight by ticking the boxes next to the relevant items.

Flight booking

It is worth noting that, as a low-cost airline, Germanwings strives to make the most of its transactions via the Internet. This significantly reduces administrative costs. That is why technology is preferred e-ticket- booking and ticketing are made online, and the passenger receives a confirmation email, which will serve as a boarding pass. This is very convenient not only for the carrier, but also for the client, who will not be able to forget or lose an electronic ticket. The coupon can be printed even at the airport - although it is better to do it at home, so as not to incur additional costs.

check-in

The airline has the same approach to the check-in of passengers for the flight. Naturally, the airport check-in counter is still open, but online and mobile check-in is becoming more and more popular. In addition, self-service check-in terminals at the airport are very convenient. The Germanwings service is attractive because passengers can check in their luggage themselves - via the terminal or via the Internet - which must be done 30 minutes before departure.
