Is it possible to transport a bicycle for free on electric trains?

On weekdays, from 11:00 to 16:00 and from 21:00 to 06:00, you can carry a bike free of charge on trains, provided that you purchase a free ticket at the box office. Moreover, the bike does not need to be folded, the main thing is that it is carried in the vestibule and does not interfere with other passengers. And one more detail: it is important that one of the stations of the train route (beginning or end) is located on the territory of Moscow or the Moscow region. During the rest of the hours, you have to pay for transporting a bicycle by train as for luggage weighing up to 10 kg - 60 rubles.

In addition to electric trains, you can get to Moscow by bus. If time is not the main criterion for you, but it is important to get on a soft armchair with air conditioning and without hucksters, you can watch

June 26: Platform 75 km of the Savyolovsky direction was renamed into a stopping point named after Barsuchenko

During the Great Patriotic War Maria Barsuchenko worked at railroad in Dmitrov, where she worked as a switchman. In November 1941, when German troops captured Yakhroma and broke through to the eastern bank of the Moscow-Volga canal, Barsuchenko, under fierce enemy fire, alone switched the arrows, ensuring the maneuverability and advancement of armored trains defending the approaches to Dmitrov. For this feat in 1942, Maria Barsuchenko was awarded the Order of the Red Star.

Based on order No. 266 of the Federal Agency railway transport(ROSZELDOR) from June 25, 2019 the stop "75 km" is renamed to the stop "im. Barsuchenko ". The order comes into force fourteen days after its signing.

July 30: On free travel for pensioners in Moscow and the Moscow region from August 1, 2018

From August 1, 2018, pensioners, as well as a number of other residents of Moscow and the Moscow Region, will receive the right to free travel on suburban trains.

Retirees Moscow will be able to travel free of charge on all suburban trains - including fast and high-speed suburban trains: "Sputniki", "REKS", suburban "Swallows" (highlighted on the site in blue, not to be confused with distant "Swallows" highlighted in red - they do not provide benefits) and other express trains.

Retirees Moscow region will be able to travel only in suburban trains of 6000 numbering. These include ordinary electric trains, "Standard Plus" trains of the TsPPK and "Comfort" of the Moscow-Tverskaya PPK.

The privilege will apply to routes through the territory of Moscow, the Moscow region and adjacent regions, when direct electric trains run from Moscow (Moscow region). For example, in the Leningrad direction free tickets it will be possible to issue no further than the stations Tver and Konakovo.

To be able to issue a non-cash ticket, it is necessary once (before the first use on suburban railway transport) activate social card... According to preliminary information, this can be done at ticket offices from August 1 at all main stations and some transfer stations in Moscow, as well as at a number of large stations in the Moscow region - Mytishchi, Sergiev Posad, Zheleznodorozhna, Domodedovo, Lyubertsy, Podolsk, Nara, Odintsovo, Pavshino, Lobnya. In addition, it will be possible to activate (recode) the card at all stations and stopping points of the Moscow-Tver, Konakovo section (where there is a ticket office), as well as in ticket-printing machines (BPA) of the Moscow-Tverskaya PPK. There is no need to reissue the card.

In the absence of a social card, it is necessary to contact the MFC - they will issue a certificate and a temporary card, upon presentation of which and a passport, it will also be possible to issue a non-cash ticket. At the CPPK training ground, until August 9, it is possible to issue a ticket without a certificate (upon presentation of only a temporary card and passport).

From mid-August it will be possible to activate the card at other stations as well.

After the card is activated, it will be possible to issue one-time non-cash tickets in the direction "there" or "there and back" using a social card at the box office or BPA.

Please note that the right to free travel does not give the right to travel without a ticket. Before each trip, you must obtain a non-cash ticket at the box office or BPA taking into account the category of the train in which you plan to travel (ticket to regular train does not give the right to travel in an ambulance, but a fast train ticket also gives the right to travel on a regular train).

Beneficiaries of Moscow can usually do this on the day of the trip or beforehand (up to 10 days), and beneficiaries of the Moscow region - only on the day of the trip.

If the ticket office is closed (at the time of departure of the train) or is absent, there is also no BPA, then it is necessary to obtain a coupon in the ticket printing terminal, confirming the fact of landing at this stopping point (only at the Central PPK landfill). And only if there is no such terminal at the station, you can sit down without a ticket and arrange travel for free directly on the train or at the destination station.

In other cases, if there is no ticket when checking on the train, or at the destination station, the passenger may be charged a service fee of 100 to 200 rubles.

If there is an e-mail service check-in for trains running between Russia and Latvia, Russia and Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, issuing boarding passes at ticket offices and self-service terminals not made less than 1 hour before the train leaves the starting station of the route.
