We rested from 05.09 to 16.09 2018. We bought a tour from Biblio Globus. When booking, the hotel requested an additional payment of 200earo, despite the fact that initially, the cost was rather big. But, in fairness, for the sake of it, we note that the other three hotels we liked in Petrovac, Budva and Becici also set the condition for an additional payment of 250 to 300 euros. It seems to be a common practice in Montenegro. The hotel was chosen for debt, the reviews were read carefully, they chose this one, as soon as it is located in the sunniest and warmest region, it is worth pine forest right by the sea. Here, relying on the location and wonderful nature, the hotel management decided not to bother with other services. Our room was on the 4th floor, building B. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, on the left the forest pulls branches, on the right the sea in all its glory. But from the room upon check-inwe were dumbfounded. I have been to 16 countries. Of these, seven are black Africa. I have never seen such a miserable environment not only in any hotel, but in any hostel. Even in the outback of Uganda and in the black residential quarter of Dar es Salaam, the toels had normal plumbing, and not a tank with a string, and not a wire instead of a shower switch. Furniture killed, from the 70s. The refrigerator is dead, the telly is old. But, however, the water pressure and heating are normal, everything works. The TV was not turned on. There was no language barrier. The beach is rocky, we knew about this in advance, but we had no idea what kind of mattress for a sunbed you had to pay separately. For a sunbed and an umbrella too. The water is clean, deep, entrance from the pontoons. Therefore, the beach is not for children, it is quiet. You can swim with a mask, it's beautiful. Near the women's beach with hydrogen sulfide sources, useful and relaxing. You can walk through the forest to the Big Beach along the seashore, which is what we did. To the city 20min.hodu on the road. The food in the hotel is a problem. You will not be hungry, but the products, good and high quality, they translate. They don't know how to cook and they don't want to change anything. It looks like the chef is definitely a relative of the owner of the hotel. There are no fruits, sometimes, as a dessert, an apple or a banana. In short, we bought it ourselves. Salad "Assorted" now we have a household name, a bunch of chopped unseasoned cabbage and two huge mugs of tomato. And so it is with food. There is, but nothing. Portions are big though. Service is fast, polite. But the hotel is half empty. The price is too high, because the quality of services does not match the cost. I was in hotels of different levels, from 2 * to 5 *, in hostels. There was no better breakfast. But nature saves everything, so the rest was a success. Treat everything else with humor, because without it you will be sad. There is no Wi-Fi either, and only at the reception, and for money (or we were so lucky).…
We visited Montenegro in June 2018. The hotel and flight were booked by Biblio-Globus, but the hotel itself was found through Travilata. Hotel "Albatros" is located at the end of the road, ie. further on is a forest in which you could walk. And if you set a goal, then reach the Great Beach (about an hour's journey, you need comfortable shoes and patience). The location is not bad: plus it has its own beach with clear water, but the entrance is from a ladder due to sharp rocks and pitfalls, healing forest air. Minus a 30-minute walk to the city along the embankment without a sidewalk, with active traffic. Nearby is a paid (2.5 euros) women's beach with hydrogen sulfide sources. Small and Great beaches sandy, but the entrance to the water is very long and shallow. Set umbrella + sunbed 5 euros. On these beaches there are taps with water to wash your feet, but there is not a single toilet, not a single changing room. On the beach "Albatross" there are showers with fresh water, and changing cabins. The hotel itself consists of a chic lobby, 2 buildings to the left, cheaper rooms, a restaurant with a veranda overlooking the beach. The rooms are standard: a TV with Russian and German channels, air conditioning, a refrigerator, wardrobes, comfortable wide beds, a shower in the bathroom, a toilet with an upper drain tank, 2 towels for each (for some reason they changed daily, but they never changed in 10 days bed linen), a mirror, 2 jars of shampoo, toilet paper and 2 glasses. The shower curtain was missing. They are warmly welcomed at the reception, everyone understands Russian (but we printed out a Russian-Serbian phrasebook and tried to communicate), meets and takes our own mini bus with the inscription "Albatross" to the airport, the buffet breakfast is monotonous: olivier, sprats, cheese , ham, butter, marmalade, pate, unsweetened yoghurt. The coffee and juices in the vending machines are very good! Dinner is quite plentiful: obligatory soup (different names, but essentially the same), a huge plate of meat with a complex side dish (potatoes, green peas, rice), the same salad with cabbage, dessert (cake, ice cream or canned peach in syrup) . Water can be bought at the bar, but we took it in the city or on the way to the hotel in a street kiosk. Not far from the Small Beach there is a large IDEA store. Here you can buy branded wines, fruits, ice cream, sweets, dairy products. The pastries are very tasty in Piekary. The prices are very affordable, almost like in Moscow. Ice cream from 70 cents to 1 euro, water from 60 cents to 1.40 euros. cafe 2.50, pasta 4, a piece of pizza 1.5. But cold cuts with a side dish 10 euros (portion can be divided into 2-3 people). Very few greens and vegetables (apparently, there is nowhere to grow). Excellent excursion service (absolutely everything is interesting), but "Albatross" is far away, so all excursions from 7 in the morning until the evening (we barely had time for dinner).
