Entertainment in the Zaeltsovsky park. Siberian holidays

Park of Culture and Leisure "Zaeltsovsky" is located on the territory of a unique forest - Zaeltsovsky pine forest. This park is the largest in the city of Novosibirsk, and rightfully is a favorite vacation spot for citizens. The territory of the park currently includes more than 35 hectares of forest plantations and cozy meadows.

2. Boron start

The history of the Zaeltsovsky park is inextricably linked with the main milestones in the development and formation of the Zaeltsovsky district.

In 1871, the survey team of engineer Garin-Mikhailovsky outlined the line of the bridge across the Ob River in the area of the First and Second Eltsovka. Subsequently, this direction was rejected due to the upcoming major land work. Places in the area of the First and Second Eltsovka turned out to be attractive for the location of manufacturing enterprises there. One of them is the city's slaughterhouse, built in 1905 and bringing a large steady income to the city. The first streets of one-story houses in the future Zaeltsovsky district appeared near enterprises under construction: a military sugar factory, a meat refrigerator, and leather industries. All this significantly influenced the prospective construction in the area.

3.

In 1925, under the chairmanship of the city engineer Rodyukov, a commission was created to prepare the initial data for the redevelopment of Novonikolaevsk. In November 1925, I. I. Zagrivko submitted for consideration to the VAI (All-Russian Association of Engineers) a preliminary design of the city plan, which was discussed at a meeting of the association's branch in Novonikolaevsk.

In the plan of I. I. Zagrivko, a number of solutions were proposed, which were preserved in subsequent plans for the reconstruction of the city. The Ob River became the most important landscape element in the panoramas of the city's development and contributed to the improvement of the climate. Particular emphasis was placed on the preservation of the forest park area in the north-west of the city (Zaeltsovsky forest park).

4. View of the Ob.

With the transformation of Novonikolaevsk into Novosibirsk (02/12/1926), the appearance of the city gradually changed. The plans for the "capital of the new Siberia" were grandiose. Particular attention was paid to the greening of the city. Squares, boulevards, parks, as conceived by the architects, were supposed to decorate Novosibirsk, turning it into a "garden city". At that time there was not much greenery in the city: only the gardens "Sosnovka", "Freedom", "Alhambra", Turukhanovskaya and Starokladbischenskaya groves. But behind Eltsovka there was a good forest. It was decided to adapt it for the public to relax by organizing Zaeltsovsky country park(Resolution of the Executive Committee of the Novosibirsk City Council of People's Deputies No. 131 of 10/18/1930). In the forest, they wanted to build dachas, rest houses, a summer theater, sports grounds, and baths.

There were several options for the layout of the new park. Some proposed to build a stadium here, others - the Siberian Exhibition Center, others - a water station and a water stadium. Plus daycares and kiosks. Interesting ideas of those years include the idea of setting up a zoo or an ethnic park. They wanted to send future employees to study in Moscow - to use the experience of Moscow parks. On September 19, 1930, an agreement was concluded with the Moscow branch of the All-Union Scientific and Architectural Society to organize an All-Union open competition for the design of the park.

However, work on the improvement of Zaeltsovsky Park began only in the spring of 1931. The opening of the park took place on June 1, 1932.

Gradually, asphalt paths were laid across the territory of the park, attractions, summer stages were installed, and a children's town was equipped. Over time, the adjacent coastal zone was ennobled, making the Ob bank a natural extension of the zone cultural recreation townspeople.

7. The sun has almost set

Decades later, only one of the first grandiose projects was implemented - the zoo. Later, a unique Children's Railway was built, including 3 stations ( Zaeltsovsky park, Sportivnaya, Zoo) and 2 sidings (Lokomotiv, Yeltsovsky). The ChRW train started its first flight on 04.06.2005.

10. The views towards the city are a dull mess of houses, so I hardly photographed them

13. good views from the window of this house :)

14. Stop river. Eltsovka

There are many beautiful parks and squares in Novosibirsk. But the “green pearl” of the city is called Zaeltsovsky Park. It is known not only for its stunning nature, but also for a variety of entertainment for every taste. Here you can watch a movie without leaving your car, climb ropes at a height of 8 meters and taste tea prepared according to an ancient Siberian recipe.

The address of Zaeltsovsky Park: Parkovaya Street, 88. You can get there from Kalinin Square. Ten minutes by public transport to the stop "PKiO" Zaeltsovsky ".

Zaeltsovsky is one of the oldest parks in Novosibirsk. It is called, and not in vain, the "green pearl" of the city. I have been to this park several times, but, one might say, “passing through” and did not climb into the jungle. And for a long time I wanted to get out here on a day off in order to wander around the vast territory without haste and explore the entire park. Several times grandiose plans were frustrated due to the vagaries of the weather. But, as soon as real summer finally came to us, I managed to carry out my plan.

This park is over 80 years old. When Novonikolaevsk turned into Novosibirsk, it began to change appearance cities, and landscaping was given special attention. Novosibirsk was planned to be made a "garden city", and at that time there was little greenery on its territory.

Behind Eltsovka there was a successful forest, which was adapted for the rest of the townspeople. Zaeltsovsky was opened on the first day of the summer of 1932.

Today, Zaeltsovsky Park is, first of all, a great place for outdoor recreation. The main "trick" is the opportunity to wander along the winding paths and breathe in the fresh air for the week ahead. It seems to be a little, but after dozens of days in the city smog, you understand how this is not enough.

Museum "Ethnosettlement"

If you resist the temptation to turn onto one of the paths, find a clearing and stretch out on the grass, and step forward along the alley of Zaeltsovsky Park, very soon you will see a sign "Ethnosettlement".

This is one of the attractions of the park - a very original institution, an open-air museum dedicated to the life of the indigenous peoples of Siberia. Here you can see how people lived, roamed, hunted, settled on the Siberian land a long time ago, touch a wooden idol - a copy of those who were once worshiped. lovers active rest can shoot a bow or throw axes at the shooting range. There are also two very cozy yurts here, which serve special tea according to ancient Siberian recipes. Just take note. I understand that in summer tea in a yurt is not a rest, but a test.

I have visited the ethnic settlement before, and this place simply fascinated me with its originality. If you perceive it only as a museum, then this is perhaps the most unusual museum in Novosibirsk.

Outdoor recreation is always associated with sports. And in the Zaeltsovsky Park of Opportunities for sports entertainment lots! I met almost more people on bicycles than pedestrians. A bicycle (as well as a velomobile, rollers, scooters) can be rented. Paid - and go along the forest route. Moreover, there are special paved alleys for cycling in the park. Pedestrians are not supposed to walk on them, but this does not stop everyone.

Of course, there are many outdoor enthusiasts, but many times less than those who go out into nature to relax, sit in the shade and, of course, cook barbecue! If you are attracted to just such leisure, go to Zaeltsovsky Park - you definitely won’t go wrong.

A green area stretches along the alley, simply crammed with large and small gazebos with barbecue facilities. Renting one such gazebo will cost about 300 rubles per hour. So there will be buffets in nature! They are already being practiced with might and main. During a walk in the park, I noticed that empty gazebos are rarely seen.

However, those wishing to sit at a "civilized" meal will also not be offended by the park. There is no desire to mess with meat on the grill - you can go for a bite to eat at one of the local establishments. In Zaeltsovsky Park there is a restaurant and a cafe with oriental cuisine called "Sosnovaya Polyana" and small letniki.

Most of these establishments are focused on central square park, which you can get to if you walk a little forward from the ethnic settlement. In addition to eateries, the park administration building is located here, as well as children's slides, a stage, a small court and attractions. By the way, Zaeltsovsky is the only park where I did not observe the excitement around the rides, they were generally empty. Because there are probably more interesting entertainment, which I will talk about later.

A great thing is the map of the park, which stands on the central square. When you walk here, it seems that everything is easy and simple, but wandering further and further, you understand how vast the territory is. Try to find the same ethnic settlement if you are here for the first time. So the map definitely benefits people.

Drive-in cinema

A little further there is another "highlight" of the Zaeltsovsky Park - a drive-in cinema. Just a godsend for those who are tired of ordinary trips to the cinema. Cinema connoisseurs come here and watch movies on a huge screen without leaving their own cars. Add popcorn, and you get an image from an American movie.

Entertainment, of course, exclusively at night: in sunlight, you can’t see anything on the screen. The first session starts at 23:00. Another unusual "trick": a film for viewing is chosen by voting. You can also miscalculate: if you want, for example, to watch a horror movie, they will choose some kind of romantic comedy. Although it seems to me that people come here not even for the sake of the films themselves, but for the special atmosphere. I will definitely make a nightly visit to this movie in my plans. All that's left is to get a car.

Opposite the drive-in theater there is a rental of small-sized vehicles - bicycles and others like them. Food stations are also located here.

Rope park "Weak ?!"

In general, the drive-in theater is great fun. But if you want something completely extraordinary, nothing prevents you from becoming a guest of the rope park "Weak ?!" This is the most publicized entertainment of the Zaeltsovsky Park.

"Weak?!" literally hangs above the ground: it is located at a height of eight meters. Here you can climb the stairs and pass the obstacle course. Unless, of course, not weak. There are two separate tracks: adult and children's. You will be briefed before the ascent. The only thing worth remembering when planning to visit this park with friends is that if you are more than 10 people, you need to inform about the visit in advance.

Toy railway

The park alley led to another local attraction. She, the alley, leads away from the rope park and turns right. After a while, I was at a fork. If you turn right, you can see… Train Station. Not in the full sense of the word, but still. Trains depart from here and run on the Children's Railway.

This road is a very unusual project, it pursues several goals at once. Firstly, the road connects two recreation areas - Zaeltsovsky Park and the Zoo. Secondly, Children's Railways is an opportunity to organize summer leisure activities for children. Moreover, useful leisure: here schoolchildren can prepare for work if they want to build a career on the railway in the future. How it works? Just. On the children's railway, the working staff are children. Of course, they perform their duties under the strict supervision of senior mentors.

On the outskirts of the Zaeltsovsky Park stretches the track of the railway with a length of 2.63 kilometers.

If you do not turn to the children's railway, but go left instead, you will get to the building of the Lokomotiv sports base, which is surrounded by greenery. Next is the descent to the beach. Entrance is paid, visiting the beach costs 100 rubles, you need to pay separately for towels and other accessories for relaxing on the sand. I scratched the bottom of the barrel and realized that this time visiting the beach does not shine for me. Therefore, she continued to get acquainted with the delights of Zaeltsovsky Park.

Walking forward, I found myself on a long alley. This alley is divided into small sections, separate sections. Next to each section hangs the name of some enterprise, mostly railway. Here, employees of enterprises celebrate holidays, first of all, of course, the Day of the Railwayman.

Everyone decorated the allotted territory to their taste. In one section, I saw a scene with views of Novosibirsk, the gates of the other are made in the form of a “nose” of a steam locomotive, in the third section there is a tree hung with ribbons. But one "decorative element" struck me. Missing children posters with photographs, as well as just gloomy and creepy pictures, are hung on a metal grid. Even if you do not take into account the latter, the decoration is still dubious. Of course, hanging such announcements is a commendable thing, but still they look gloomy in a cheerful and joyful park.

And one of the railway workers erected a metal traffic light on his site. Or, perhaps, a semaphore - it is clearly more “on topic” here. There is a monument to the first traffic light in Novosibirsk, semaphores also do not need to be offended?

Speaking of monuments. Approximately in the middle of the alley there is a whole family of forged metal sculptures. There is a small bridge here, which has already been hung with a lot of "love" locks with names, an hourglass, a globe. A metal tree pulls its leaves to the sky, a steam locomotive “puffs” nearby.

I liked these sculptures very much, although for a long time I thought about why they were “in a bunch”. It would be wiser to arrange this beauty throughout the park.

Having finished my inspection of the alley, I decided to turn left, go under the bridge where cyclists ride and bypass the park on the other side. So, never repeat my mistakes! It turned out that the road I went on, terrible and broken, did not lead to the park at all! But I didn't know that.

I found out when thoroughly tired legs brought me to the territory of the children's country camp. There they kindly suggested to me that now I need to go back! And a lot has already been done. I had to force myself to get at least some pleasure from walking through the forest. There is nothing to do anyway, just go and admire the scenery and the rails of the children's railway. The nature here is really wonderful, but after a long journey in the wrong direction, civilization seems even more beautiful.

Zaeltsovsky Park is open around the clock. Of course, late in the evening you will no longer rent a bike and it is unlikely that you will ride on the children's railway, but you can just take a walk in the park or look into the drive-in cinema.

Park website: parksib.ru, Vkontakte group.

There are many beautiful parks in Novosibirsk, but if you go a little beyond its borders, you will find the endless Siberian taiga, where there are berries and mushrooms, squirrels and bears. However, there is not always time for trips out of town, so city parks become the choice of many busy people. You don’t have to travel far, here at every step there is a small park, a green island where you can take a walk with your children. However, the oldest and most beautiful in the city of Novosibirsk is Zaeltsovsky Park.

What's interesting here

First of all, guests of the city are fascinated by the very pristine nature of this place. Zaeltsovsky Park is the oldest in the city; many plantings here are over a hundred years old. The vast territory makes it possible to be alone with nature, since it is very difficult to meet people in its remote corners. But if you are looking not for solitude, but for entertainment, then here you are given the richest choice.

How to get to the park

Zaeltsovsky Park is located within the city, it can be easily reached with a transfer from Kalinin Square. Just 10 minutes by public transport and you get to the desired stop. This is PKiO Zaeltsovsky. Now you can go for a walk along the shady alleys. This is what is considered the best entertainment: to be in the fresh air, breathe in the smell of pine needles and flowers, take a break from the noise and city rhythm. Many people miss this during a long work week.

History of the park

Even when Novonikolaevsk was renamed into Novosibirsk, the plans were to create a real garden city. At that time, there was little greenery on the territory of the city, which could not be said about its surroundings, there was an endless taiga all around. Behind the Eltsovka district there was a beautiful forest, large and bright, which became the ancestor of the new park. This is how Zaeltsovsky Park appeared on the first day of the summer of 1932. It won't be long before he reaches his first hundred years. Of course, during this time he has changed a lot, but the love of the townspeople for him has remained unchanged.

Museum in the park

On a hot summer day, getting into the territory of the park, you really want to turn into a shady alley, find a suitable clearing for yourself and stretch out on the grass. This is how many people spend their weekends. However, if you have a desire to see something new, pluck up your courage and take a walk to a very curious museum under open sky. Zaeltsovsky Park (Novosibirsk) is an exceptional place where you can get acquainted with the culture of indigenous Siberians. Here you can see how these people lived and hunted, what gods they worshiped. Indeed, the presented wooden idol is an exact copy of those that were worshiped in antiquity. Here you can shoot from a bow or mark axes, as well as drink tea, which is prepared according to a special recipe.

sports entertainment

Outdoor recreation is primarily associated with sports. Where, if not here, you can freely go rollerblading or cycling, go jogging or just swim and sunbathe? All types of equipment, bicycles and rollers, velomobiles and scooters can be rented, the days when they were dragged from home are gone. Paid - and ride along the shady alleys. On a summer day, a huge number of people go to Zaeltsovsky Park. Novosibirsk is a big city, but there is only one park of this magnitude. And what about a rope town, where bridges and passages are stretched at a decent height. Not everyone has the courage to walk along such aerial paths, but the sensations are simply wonderful.

outdoor recreation

There are a lot of outdoor enthusiasts here, but even more of those who just want to sit in the shade, take a break from the hustle and bustle and be alone with themselves. Many youth companies come here to fry shish kebabs. Zaeltsovsky Park is the best for this. Pavilions along the green alley are equipped with everything necessary for such a holiday, each of them has a barbecue and benches, you will only have to bring skewers, meat and have a great time. I must say that it is not so easy to find a free gazebo, sometimes you have to wait quite a long time to cook a portion of barbecue for yourself. In urban areas, this is the best option. summer holiday, since no one will allow you to fry kebabs in the yard, and there is not always time to go far out of town. Renting a gazebo costs 300 rubles per hour.

Vacation with children

Children love spending time in this park. There is an amusement park for them, but the most important thing is the pool in Zaeltsovsky Park. It is really amazing, and there are two ways to sunbathe here. In the first case, you pay 100 rubles for the whole day and you can sunbathe on the sand without the opportunity to use a sun lounger and access the water. In the second case, the payment will be 250 rubles per hour, but you can swim and sunbathe in a deck chair or on the sand, as you like. Children under seven years old are admitted free of charge. The pool has two areas: adults and children. The pool in Zaeltsovsky Park is unheated, so in cool weather its popularity drops sharply. However, it is not at all necessary to use the pool if you want to fry in the sun. The park has access to the river bank, which means that everyone has the opportunity to lie there on the sand. The beach in Zaeltsovsky Park is very popular. If you plan to visit the park, then you will definitely need a whole day. It should be noted that visiting the beach is also paid: 100 rubles plus the rental of beach accessories.

Big train for little kids

The real Railway. There is enough space for this in Zaeltsovsky Park, and there is something to see. Its length is about 3 km, and the train itself is an exact copy of a large one, only reduced several times. This road is not just fun. It connects the territory of the park and the Zoo, in addition, it allows you to get to places where the child himself will not reach, since the park is very large. You can take a tour, explore the entire area, and then choose where you would like to stay. But there is one more feature: the railway workers are children, schoolchildren, who do all the work under the guidance of senior mentors.

The children's railway functions like a real one, there is a station where trains arrive exactly on schedule. Each train has scheduled stops, children and adults like traveling in such a car. Moreover, this way you can save time and effort - do not walk many kilometers to get to the desired point in the park. After all, only being inside, you can understand how big it is.

Drive-in cinema

Another highlight of this park, but this is an exclusively night adventure. The first screening starts at 23:00, and all those who come vote for which picture they will watch. Viewing is carried out without leaving the car, the film is shown on a huge screen. The downside is that you never know what movie you'll be watching. However, the special atmosphere that reigns here attracts more and more people. Not a single ordinary cinema gives such sensations as watching a movie at night, in the forest, in your own car. The darkness creates a complete illusion of solitude, as if there is no one around except you and the characters in the film.

On weekends, when the weather is fine, the best place Novosibirsk parks are for recreation, where you can have a good time in the bosom of nature, including the largest of them - Zaeltsovsky, which is one of the favorite places not only for a picnic, but also for wedding photo shoots. There are a lot of beautiful corners that are great for making original and memorable photos.

Zaeltsovsky Bor - a unique forest area of the city with its stunning emerald expanses, untouched by civilization, receives up to 80 percent of the townspeople on weekends. Its area is thirty-five hectares of plantations with picturesque meadows, bizarre paths, secluded places, relic pines.

And although Zaeltsovsky Park is considered a country park, it can be reached by car from the city center in just five minutes. There is a very large free parking lot at the entrance.

Starting from a very beautiful station, which the newlyweds often use as a decoration for a photo shoot, works on the territory. Bicycle and rollerblade rentals are also open here during the summer months.

In general, Zaeltsovsky Park offers a lot of entertainment: it is a cinema where movies are watched in the car, and horseback riding.

The entire territory is segmented into zones that differ in their design, but are united by the same theme of the railway. This idea begins to be traced already from the design of the central entrance. Zaeltsovsky Park is literally dotted with stylized elements of railway tracks, road barriers, bridge spans, steam locomotives - samples of the war period, expositions from details of earlier times. Trains and locomotives in various designs are a distinctive feature of the park. Forged sculptures, which perfectly convey the railway theme, also attract attention.

A huge number of pavilions and playgrounds that Zaltsovsky Park offers for recreation make it possible to choose a corner for a heart-to-heart conversation or organize some kind of event on a real stage.

At the service of lovers of active pastime there are rope trails, paintball, mini-golf and roller skating grounds, various attractions. In winter, those who are not afraid of frost come to Zaeltsovsky Park to go skating and skiing.

The history of this place of rest is inextricably linked with the history of the city itself. Since 1926, when Novonikolaevsk was renamed Novosibirsk, the image began to change gradually. Particular attention was paid to the issue of greening the city. There was even an idea to turn it into a garden city.

However, at that time there was not much greenery in Novosibirsk: only a few gardens and groves - Trukhanovskaya, Svoboda, Starokladbischenskaya, Sosnovka and Alhambra. But behind the Yeltsovsky district there was an excellent forest, which in 1930 it was decided to turn into a place of rest for the townspeople. This is how Zaeltsovsky Park appeared. Initially, it was supposed to build one-day holiday cottages, a water stadium, an exhibition center, etc. here. A competition for the planning of the territory was even announced.

The opening of the park took place in June 1932, and three decades later two truly grandiose projects were launched here - a children's railway and a zoo.
