At 23:00, all major roads leading to Al Maryan Island will be completely closed. This means that after this time no vehicle will not be able to reach hotels until roads are reopened around 03:00 hours on January 1, 2020.

We flew in January 2018, we were very lucky with the weather, it was warm, but the sea was cool 20 °. The children swam only in the pool (there are 3 of them with different water t ° and depth). but 1 line. The room was on the 7th floor overlooking the sea, there are no balconies. Meals were taken breakfast + dinner (dinner can be changed for lunch). very ... A lot of spices !!! We lived in this hotel for only 4 days, as we were in transit through the UAE. But these days we managed to enjoy the rest. Booked through the site, the staff is responsive, settled quickly upon arrival. The room was a standard double room, spacious, very bright overlooking the beach, with all amenities.
During these days we visited several restaurants, in the hotel itself, ordered breakfast in the room, it was delicious fruit, scrambled eggs with bacon, coffee, pastries. We went for dinner to the Kazan restaurant, located 10 minutes drive at the Al Seef Hotel. The environment is very pleasant, the staff is friendly. We ordered Dorada fish, very tender, fresh and fried ribs (juicy, tender meat.) We were pleasantly surprised by the prices.
We swam on the beach in the pool there are four of them, two for children. private beach clean, the sea was warm, transparent. There were enough sun loungers and umbrellas for everyone. There is a beautiful winter garden with birds and a fish pond.
We even managed to visit one excursion, a sightseeing tour of Dubai. We were impressed by the beauty of the Middle East, the singing fountains are amazing. The tour was purchased from the Shan Tours company at the Summer land hotel, a 10-minute drive from the hotel, the company was found via the Internet. Let me start with the sea. This is why most people go on vacation, I had a slightly different goal - excursions and shopping in Duba, Abu Dhabi. So, the beach is clean. I never saw a single glass or paper. White sand, without stones and algae, the sea is clean and calm. I bathed almost every day in the early morning. The beach is full of sunbeds, so I never had any problems with them. In addition to the sea, there are three pools, around which there are also sunbeds. The water in them is sea and heated. The design of the building itself is unique and very beautiful. The entire first floor, together with the reception and the restaurant, is a huge oasis with trees and waterfalls, with ponds and fish in them. The view is of course wonderful, no words or photos can describe it. I took only breakfast, as I was not going to spend all the time in the hotel. The food has always been great, no complaints. Great coffee. Level service. Although my room was standard, it was large and comfortable, and most importantly with a view of the sea. Constantly from the hotel there were buses throughout the day until the evening. Everything I wanted from Radisson Blue I got. I will return here for sure.

There is no strong smell, the hood works well. But I would really like to sit on the balcony and look at the beautiful view from the room. On the sea. The water is clear, cleaners are constantly walking and removing every piece of paper, from the water too. In January, the water was cool, but we still swam. The hotel also has 3 heated swimming pools. Nutrition - Buffet. We took breakfast and dinner, you can change for lunch. Very convenient when you go on a tour with dinner. Very varied dishes, all very tasty. Everything is always fresh, you can squeeze orange juice for breakfast. Very tasty mango smoothie in bottles. And in general, a lot of mango desserts. For some reason, I was not even alerted by the fact that 16 people flew us on an airplane, but then they told me that Ramadan is now in the UAE and there are almost no tourists at this time. I will say right away that I bought a ticket a day before departure, I wanted to take the children to the sea, the nearest place where you could fly where it was warm from the permitted countries turned out to be the United Arab Emirates.
Arrival:
We arrived at Dubai airport in the evening, met the guide, put him in the car, drove to the hotel on the "minibus" for 1 hour and 20 minutes, landed some tourists in the "Marina". The guide did not go to the hotel with us, said that there would be no problems with the check-in and left somewhere along the road.
Check in:
We arrived at the hotel late, no one speaks RUSSIAN. Settled immediately, there is no tax in Sharjah, no deposit was taken. We fed dinner, we took breakfast and dinner. There is only one man in the hotel who speaks Russian, works at the reception (it doesn’t always happen even more often at night), no one else from the staff will understand you (if you don’t speak English well).

The rooms are already old, a lot of wood and carpets already have a specific smell, I was very worried, since the child is allergic, but everything worked out. We lived on the 5th floor. Room with two single beds. There are no balconies in this hotel, the window opens only on request. In the morning the hotel manager came, we did not understand each other, but after his arrival they immediately brought the child a small bed. The room has an electronic safe, a mini fridge (we had an empty one), bathrobes, slippers, shampoo, shower gel, hair balm, soap, body lotion, everything was left in in large numbers. There is an ironing board and iron. Cleaning every day, no problems with towels, bedding changed every day too. Also a TV with two Russian channels, a kettle, water, cafe tea, sugar, cream. Take an adapter with you or you will have to buy it there, there are a lot of sockets, only there was one adapter in the room, the second one was bought.
Hotel:
The hotel is small on the territory, you can only live and eat in it, there is nothing more to do on the ground floor there is a huge waterfall, which for the first nights prevented you from sleeping to the sound of water and prayers got used to after 5 days. 2 elevators arrive quickly.
Beach:
The beach is very good sand shallow, entry into the sea is smooth for children super. Clean, the only nearby port is right across the breakwater, it’s a bit strange when huge ships sail, but we didn’t see any direct mud. There are not very many sunbeds and umbrellas (but there were 15 people on holiday, I repeat because Ramadan, so we had no problems, but when the hotel was busy, I think not everyone would be enough. During our period, there was not even a bar on the beach and there was a problem with water, went to the store to buy. Near the pool everything was closed, except for a wooden slide on the beach, there was nothing for children to do. During this period, it was possible to stay at the sea only until 12.00, then it was very hot and then only after 16.00. Near the hotel:
In the evenings we walked around Sharjah, we knew everything around !!! There is a port nearby, if you walk along the embankment there are a lot of Indians and fishing boats, the smell is very bad and strong. There is a mosque next to the hotel and they constantly turned on prayers very often and very loudly, they even interfered with our sleep. Not far away, 5 minutes on foot and you are in a large food supermarket, it works around the clock, but all other stores opened only after 19.00, there are many cafes and shops, pharmacies, markets along the way, if you forgot something, be sure to buy everything. Air conditioners work very hard in stores, you go in and freeze. The weather was very hot. You can’t eat on the streets, even chew gum for a child, drink water too, you had to cover the child with a sweater and give it to drink.
Nutrition
The hotel restaurant started a gala dinner at 19.00 and all the locals came, celebrated, there were a lot of people, and after that at 21.00 the usual dinner for the hotel residents began. In terms of nutrition, we are not very picky, breakfasts are ordinary eggs, cereals, cereals, although the juice is very tasty and freshly dug, local sausage and cheese, toast, vegetables, fruit salad, it was always there, there were few fruits only for breakfast, watermelon, melon and canned peaches, for there was no fruit dinner at all, twice saw a couple of oranges and apples. For dinner there was always chicken, meat, sometimes fish, mashed soups, salads are really terrible and very often there were a lot of flies around them. there were not many sweets at all, one cake and jelly, pasta potatoes, some dishes were very spicy.
Eviction:
Check-out at 12.00, we paid extra and shed it without any problems, because the flight was after 16.00 and we didn’t want to sit at the reception with the children.
From not pleasant:
In the evening I was sitting with two children on the sofa right opposite the reception, they were going to go for a walk, they went out the door and remembered that the children had forgotten sunglasses and baseball caps on the table, they returned less than 2 minutes, but there was nothing. The girls from the reception turned away from me and showed with gestures that they did not understand me (although there is even a camera there), it’s a pity that the children were upset, but it became no longer pleasant, then they were smarter and more attentive to things. In the hotel, no one will explain or tell you anything, the staff does not speak Russian and are not very friendly.
Where to go:
My eldest child, 5 years old, took a taxi to the oceanarium in Sharjah, we were there ALONE, he really liked it, and we went to the museum nearby, the ticket was shared. There is no one anywhere in Ramadan, emptiness is everywhere, but look at the schedule on the Internet, everything works according to a different schedule. True, they barely found a taxi back, because by the time it was time for prayers, there were about 20 cars, but they couldn’t go until they all read long prayers. I had to go out onto a huge highway and catch a car there. I went everywhere alone with a child in a taxi, everything was metered, there were no seats, I held a small one in my arms for 2 years. the stroller is put in the trunk, in all taxis it is empty. We also went to the amusement park and the train market, also took a taxi by ourselves and walked everywhere, we took all the information from the Internet, a lot of things were closed during this period of Ramadan, for example, we never got to the fountains.
