A small northern town was littered with snow up to the very roofs of the houses, and everything that had been cleared yesterday, the blizzard swept up again. The snow drifted around like a little dog, her feet were freezing in old demi-season half boots, but the woman stubbornly made her way through the bad weather to her goal, and her heart was joyful and somehow warm in spring. The only difficulty was that the man would not want to borrow money from her, or, moreover, just like that. But even that, Martha thought, was manageable. Tomorrow, the upset grandfather was going to visit the boy, to leave for a few days in the regional center. And, so, the woman decided - then she would throw a bundle of bills, put them in the pocket of her winter coat just before leaving, so that he would find them on the way. She collected all the magazines, all the press clippings about the Riviera, which she put on the shelf next to her box - the embodiment of a dream - for the last time, swallowing the tears that suddenly rolled up, in treachery, looked through and threw them into the trash can, sitting down at the table, in in the light of the nightlight, she counted her wealth again and neatly folded the bills into an envelope white as the sail of a yacht on which she would not ride. She inscribed it, after a little thought, tore a sheet out of a notebook and brought out five words on it - "To Vadim for his grandson with warmth." Going on vacation to Kazan, I clearly knew that I wanted to get to the Riviera water park, so the water park was included in our tourist program. Well, how else? To be in Kazan and not get into one of the best water parks in Russia? Yes, I would never forgive myself.

Having learned that we were going to the "Riviera", the girl at the reception from our hotel advised us to go there after four o'clock in the afternoon, they say there will be much less people than if we were there in the morning.

How to get to the Riviera water park

During our vacation we lived next to railway station, so for us it turned out to be the most convenient option take bus number 74 and get to the stop "st. Chistopolskaya (Tatneftarena).

Weekday prices are slightly lower than weekend prices. Now I climbed onto the site to look at the prices, but I realized that there was a slight discrepancy with what we paid. Two tickets to the water park for 4 hours cost us 2100 rubles. This is for adults and teenagers.

From the price tags of the site, it turns out that 4 hours on weekdays cost 900 rubles and 800 rubles for a teenager. On weekends for 4 hours 1050 rubles for an adult and 900 rubles for a teenager.

Hmm... mysterious.

So in fact it turns out more expensive, an adult is 1,100 rubles for 4 hours, and a teenager is 1,000 rubles for 4 hours. There are no such price tags on the site, there is some discrepancy with the declared one.

Description of the water park

With the purchased tickets, they give out bracelets on an elastic band. There is some misunderstanding with the bracelets, since the teenager is given a bracelet with an elastic band for the child's handle, and teenagers are large. For example, mine will be taller than many adults, and this bracelet barely fit on his arm, squeezing the skin. It would be much more convenient to come up with bracelets with clasps.

Jackets and shoes, pre-packed in a bag, are rented to the cloakroom. Scarves, shawls, hats do not give up.

After along the corridor, go to the lockers.

There are changing rooms next to the lockers. There you change into your bathing suits, put things in a bag and go to any free locker, put things inside, close the door, put the bracelet on a special display and the locker closes. For reliability, of course, pull the door, whether it’s for sure, or you never know what. Opens easily. You need to bring the bracelet to the reading board.

After dressing, as a rule, a shower follows, and here I had a kind of brain explosion, since before that I always came across showers with a strict separation: men's showers and women's showers. In the "Riviera" showers were shared. Perplexed, maybe I misunderstood something, went up to the girl employee, asked again, but then she was already surprised.

Well, okay, shared showers, so common, anyway, I wasn’t going to not undress there.

After the showers, there is an exit to the water park and here the expanse of water begins. From a large space, eyes run wide, at first you don’t even know where to go, and then you plunge into the nearest pool and the pleasure begins.

Pools

The nearest basin was the Amazon River. Its warm waves pick up the body and carry it in a circle, you don’t even have to swim, the water still carries it. The only caveat of this river is that it will be waist-deep for an adult. This is somewhat discouraging at first, but then you no longer pay attention to the depth, especially since such a river will obviously appeal to parents with small children.

In the evening, when it gets dark, floating along this river, you float through a window from which you can see an enchanting view of the Ferris ring in the backlight. It looks very romantic.

If you want to swim in the pool deeper, that is, splashing jets. There, if you swim away, there is a normal depth.

There is a wave pool, but a real full house has gathered there, it seems that everyone, both adults and children, consider it their duty to sit out in it. As a result, they didn’t flounder especially in the waves, because they constantly throw a wave at other people.

A cool idea with a pool-bar, I have only seen this in Turkey before. You swim up and you can order a beer or lemonade and savor your drink while swaying in the blue waters of the pool. There are other benefits to this pool as well. For example, massage beds installed under water, but close to the surface. You lay down on them and relaxation begins with the help of water bubbles rising to the top. Lyapota!

From the same pool there is an exit to the street, to the outdoor pool. In summer, this is one picture, and in cold weather it is completely different. Let me remind you that our time for visiting the water park is November, and when you swim out into the street, you find yourself in a temperature of contrasts. Under water it is warm, even hot, the water is very, very warm, but outside, where the head and shoulders stick out, it is cold. Feeling sharp, cool. I met such a pool only in the Lebyazhy water park in Minsk.

Slides

Didn't get to ride the hills. This requires company, and my child is not a fan of such adrenaline entertainment. I would love to roll on a cheesecake in an open slide, but I didn’t notice such ones, they were only of a closed type.

For example, slide "Tornado". It looks quite innocent and at first, when the cheesecake slides along its circular surface, it seems that everything is happening as if in slow motion, but approaching the funnel, the cheesecake is pulled inside at a frantic speed and only a scream is heard, disappearing into the hole.

Here are a few more closed-type slides. They flew at them with cheesecakes.

For thrill-seekers there is "Kamikaze". This is a fast track. I tried a slide of a similar plan in Bulgaria, those vivid impressions were enough for me, so far there were no desires to repeat.

Interesting slide "Jump into the abyss". For lovers of diving, that's it. Judging by the description on the site, the depth there is 4 meters. Impressive.

For those who like to warm their bones, there are a couple of types of saunas: Finnish and Turkish. We are lovers of wet steam and low temperatures, so we preferred the Turkish steam room. After the time spent there, there was a feeling that I was born again and it was possible to rediscover the pools and outdoor swimming.

Nutrition

In the water park "Riviera" they pay with money from the bracelet. That is, you will need to throw money on the bracelet that they give out. To do this, take the required amount of money and approach the girl at the checkout located in the locker room, opposite the entrance to the water park. Keep the check received at the checkout. Then present it at the same checkout when you leave the water park in order to receive unspent money.

Several food outlets. We sat on the second floor. The food there is like canteens, you come up with a tray, put what you need on it and head to the cashier. Prices, of course, are higher than in ordinary canteens, but not prohibitive.

Return trip

Time in the water park flies by. We all liked it very much. When they got dressed, dried their hair and went outside, they realized that everything was difficult with a stop on the way back. It is not located, as usual, on the opposite side, you need to go a long way to it and it is not clear where. The conductor told us that the 74th stop back for a gas station. We walked for 10 minutes, but did not find a stop. Perhaps it was necessary to go even longer, but gave up, decided to go back to the water park and walk along the river to get to the opposite side. We then had to go in the direction where the station is, where the Kremlin is.

And, to be honest, we didn’t regret such a walk, as the views of Kazan at night are incredibly beautiful.

Tornado

Very young children may not be allowed on this slide. But let's not talk about children, even some adults are afraid of this slide, so before visiting it, try the best others, simpler ones.

When your queue begins to come to an end, be sure to take care to find the inflatable bun on which you will descend in time, without it they will not let you in. Inflatable buns usually lie near the stairs to the attraction, or they can be taken near the pool, where the attraction ends and those who have already swept will give it to you.

Niagara

This hill is very wide, has a few turns, but in itself it is calm. On it you will not develop high speed and you will not be thrown too much from side to side. You can ride it with a company (2-4 people), taking a special inflatable bun (cheesecake, tubing). Almost everyone rides it, because it is not difficult and much more fun together.

NOTE! Inflatable buns lie near the stairs to the attraction, but there are none at the top. Therefore, first find yourself a bun and only then climb the hill, otherwise you will not be able to go down.

Green slide "Anaconda"

Quite a long slide, which has many sharp turns. It is one of the longest slides, you will roll on it as much as 108 meters. The speed on it is average, so do not be afraid of it and be sure to try it. The slide is very popular, as it develops not a bad speed and you can ride not only one, but even three together.

Before climbing the Anaconda hill, find a bun for it near the stairs, which will be suitable for the number of people you need.

Blue slide "Bermuda Descent"

Long and fast slide with a length of 113 meters. On it you can slide only one and only on an inflatable bun. The slide is medium in difficulty and brings more fun than fear. Probably 90% of visitors go to it, since it is long and not particularly scary, even small children are happy to return to it again.

Red slide "Kamikaze"

It is considered the fastest slide in the Riviera water park. Unfortunately, not many people dare to slide on it, because they are afraid of speed, and according to the statement of the water park, you can reach speeds of up to 80 km / h there.

IMPORTANT! Children's areas in the water park are more closely supervised, so your children have very little chance of harming themselves or others in any way. And if your child does not swim well, then be sure to take him a vest.

Nevertheless, to be honest, few people are able to master even half of the declared attractions in one trip to the park, at least we could not. It’s good if a child and his parents are enough for a couple of dozen slides))

How to get there: it is most convenient to stay in a Riviera hotel or an apartment rented for a day near the water park, which many people do, because. The Riviera is located on the opposite bank of the Kazanka River from the city center, near the Millennium Bridge. The metro does not go to the water park, but there is a public transport stop "Sibgat Khakim Street" nearby. Buses No. 28, 28a, 43, 54, 74, 74a, 97 stop near the water park.

So we got, in fact, to the review of the Riviera water park in Kazan. In general, it is worth noting that photography in the water park costs 300 rubles, but many take selfies on their phones and go with cameras on their entire chests, it seems that the guards did not pinch anyone and did not force them to delete the photo)) Yes, it would be a pity to delete such bright pictures!

The photo shows and more slide and outdoor pools. I shot more of them because it was much more pleasant to swim outside, so we spent most of our time there. Plus, for a child there is a safe depth, warm water and suitable slides. And also, when you swim under the autumn day open sky, the feeling is very cool!

Once we were in the Riviera in the winter, and these pools also worked, the water in them is constantly kept warm. Then, of course, my child and I did not dare to such a feat, but adults are happy to go swimming under the falling snow. Nearby there is a sauna (which is visible in the photo above on the right) to warm up, but it is very small and if people decide to crowd there, I'm afraid it will fall apart like a tower))

There are two main pools outside. There is a warm pool with a depth of 0.8 m. with a completely for kids, with appropriate slides. For adults, the water is literally knee-deep here.

The second one is much larger in size, the depth in it is 1.2 m, there are three slides around for descent. Simple slides, but already higher and more abruptly than in the children's pool. Children of school age usually swim here.

It is mandatory for all children to wear life jackets; lifeguards strictly monitor this and immediately grab the whistle if they see violators. Even if your child can swim, according to the rules of the water park, he must be in a life jacket. Mishuta and I once made a remark, now the child is always in a vest, otherwise it is wildly unpleasant when you are scolded in front of such a crowd: /

Right behind the pools is a large Ferris wheel. A ticket for it must be purchased separately, but a discount is provided for visitors to the water park. To be honest, there are few people riding it, apparently no one has the strength for the wheel, but at sunset the view from it is really amazing.

Also for an additional fee of 200 rubles. you can jump on a trampoline. The attraction is called "Bungee", but still, its essence boils down to jumping jacks, although they are quite high because of the tight ropes.

If you don't want to ride water slides, but simply don't mind swimming in the pool and relaxing on the beach, there is a possibility of a separate entrance, without entering the water park. Usually, these pools are visited by the residents of Kazan themselves, because. But if you are traveling from another city, like us, then I see no reason to take tickets only to the pools, although it is cheaper, but still this is not something worth traveling from afar for.

By the way, if you take to the water park, then the entrance to these pools is free for you. That is, if you wish, you can swim in them, but again, why, if there are no slides or other entertainment there, and there are no less people.

Inside the water park, too, of course, crowded. Crowds everywhere, mountains of flip flops and thrown towels.

I recommend keeping an eye on the child. It seems that this is already clear and I usually literally “graze” Misha, but even then, on a pirate ship, I lost him in a huge crowd of children and adults. If you ride together on a roller coaster, then you first slide down, and then only the child. Because in this case, you can "accept" him, and the employees who are assigned to each attraction will follow the child's sending along the slide.
