Apartments in the Gorki Gorod resort: when it's nice to save

In my article, I already wrote that one of the advantages of the Gorki Gorod resort over Rosa Khutor is a large number of apartments . And not just some economy rooms without meals, but really nice big apartments in the center of the resort, a stone's throw from the cable car.

Apartments of the all-season resort Gorki Gorod are chosen by tourists for various reasons. This is the proximity to the cable car and rental points, a shopping complex, a cinema and a water park will also be a stone's throw away. This is a bunch of different cafes and restaurants right in the apartment buildings, because all the first floors of the buildings are just such establishments. But from the second floor and above there are apartments.

In principle, I have already seen what these apartments are like. But it is one thing to see, and quite another thing to live in such rooms. Because this is the only way to evaluate all their pros and cons.

Looking ahead, I’ll say that there are almost no minuses. But here, as always, you need a golden mean between price and quality. But with this in the Gorki Gorod apart-hotel, in general, everything is sooooo amazing! However, read on.

How to book

Book a room in apart-hotel Gorki Gorod can only be done through the website. tour operator "Biblio-Globus". A nice girl at the reception said that this operator bought the ENTIRE room stock of the apart-hotel, and with all her desire to sell the room at the reception, she will not be able to sell us. Well, we didn't insist. We went to the site "bible" and five minutes later we were the happy owners of a confirmed reservation for a one-bedroom apartment.

We approached the counter again, with passports, and they began to pick up a free room for us. Yes, you cannot book a specific room. You can only indicate in the note to the armor which hull you would like or some other important parameters for you. Your wishes WILL TRY to be taken into account whenever possible.

Another important point- upon check-in you will be asked 5000 rubles as a deposit. Or a security deposit in the amount of 5,000 rubles per apartment for the entire period of stay will be blocked on your bank card. After checking the number, the blocking will be removed. But in depending on the issuing bank of your card, the unlocking time can vary from 1 to 30 days! Therefore, it is better to deposit money in cash. Which is what we did.

By the way, I also liked the atmosphere at the reception. Cozy waiting furniture refers more to an expensive hotel than to economical apartments:

According to the general rules, check-in starts after 14:00, and you must vacate the room on the day of the detour before 12:00. But I advise you to come a little earlier - by 12 o'clock at the reception there will be a lot of departing tourists, and all of them will receive their deposit back, and this takes a certain amount of time ...

Let's go to the rooms!

So, we received the keys to our apartments, we set off to move into them. We got apartments in 33 building, on the 4th floor.

There are a lot of hulls. And if you look at this scheme of the resort, you can find out in advance which building to ask for when checking into apartments:

We booked A one-bedroom apartments with an area of ​​​​such apartments from 45 meters. A bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom (in our case, two bathrooms) - this is essentially a two-room apartment that we got. Capacity - up to three people. Accommodation of the 3rd person is possible on a folding sofa or on a folding bed.

Resort website Gorki City we have already read the following information about the rooms:

In the room:

• Free high-speed Wi-Fi; LCD TV, satellite TV (more than 100 TV channels); some rooms have a French (open / closed) balcony or terrace; electronic safe; fully equipped kitchen (kettle, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher , minimum set of dishes); direct telephone line; iron and ironing board; bath accessories and cosmetics. Beds are single only.

All apartments are equipped with individual thermostats that control the cold heating and air conditioning systems.

Not bad, right? I had to live in apartments in France and Turkey, Greece and Vietnam. And I can safely say that the apartments in the Gorki Gorod resort are very worthy compared to many that I have seen.

Here you can easily cook everything that your children or you are used to eating - an electric stove, a set of knives, a saucepan and a frying pan are at your disposal. Cooked in the evening in the morning can be heated in the microwave, and a spacious refrigerator will allow you to store a supply of food for a whole week. Washing dishes will not be a problem either: we put everything in the dishwasher and went for a ride up the mountain.

Two bathrooms will allow you to quickly get together in the morning without interfering with each other:

Although the beds in the bedrooms are single, the mattresses are very comfortable - you sleep great!

Pillows of two types - bigger and smaller. Which is a huge plus for me personally - I like to sleep on small pillows, but it’s convenient to read before going to bed, leaning on a large one. The wardrobe in the bedrooms is quite roomy - the contents of your suitcase can fit in it without any problems.

More about the living room. Everything suited me in it - upholstered furniture is moderately hard so as not to fall in with your head ;-), a coffee table on which it is convenient to lay out a laptop or any food while watching TV. The tones of the furniture and curtains are soft, muted, and in general the style of the apartments is closer to minimalism.

Living room in one bedroom apartment

Maybe someone will find the atmosphere modest, but I would be very satisfied with such minimalism in own apartment— I don’t like it when the interior is overloaded with details…

In general, we enjoyed living in the comfortable one-bedroom Gorki Gorod apartments so much that we decided to prolong the pleasure and book one more night in them. But for this night only two bedroom apartment . And we decided - you can’t forbid living beautifully, we’ll spend the night like a queen! As you understood from the video, we were very lucky: we booked this apartment just for ridiculous money!

Again, the same procedure at the reception: making a deposit, receiving a key ... And here we are again in a cozy living room, sitting drinking southern wine and having dinner with a salad from the nearest Perekrestok hypermarket (because the entrance to it is right opposite the entrance of our apartments, this time we got building 7, 2nd floor)

Well, what else can I tell you about living in the apartments of the Gorki Gorod resort? I can supplement the overall idyllic picture with such strokes:

• In the morning it is convenient to leave the apartment on the street and take a jog along the embankment;
• There is no washing machine in the apartments; but there is a laundry, laundry in which you will cost from 150 rubles;
• In some places there are small "jambs" in the form of falling off tiles or traces of children's art on the wallpaper;
• sound insulation is very good, you will not hear noise from the road or from the river with the windows closed;
• using the keys to your apartment, you can go to the cable car and climb the level +960 of the Gorki Gorod resort, and an unlimited number of times;
• with the same keys you can visit Sochi Casino Resort without making a deposit;
• if you arrive in Gorki Gorod by car, then you will be provided with parking for your car, though not for free - for 250 rubles per day;
• for the coming sleep it will be pleasant to walk along the large well-groomed area around the apartment.
