How much money do you need to take to Prague. How much does it cost to go to the Czech Republic

It's no secret that independent travel saves a lot of money. For several years now I have been traveling all over the world, almost non-stop, occasionally returning to my native Novosibirsk. So, I have just returned from an independent trip to Prague (Czech Republic) and am ready to tell you how to organize your trip to this country cheaply and comfortably.

This was my third trip to the Czech Republic. It lasted 11 days, during which time I rested wonderfully :). I've seen so many sights that I can already compile a guide to Prague. Although sightseeing was not my only occupation. I talked a lot with local residents(who knew English), tried to understand the lifestyle in this country, and also had fun in full with new acquaintances. In general, Prague is an excellent place for recreation, both cultural and alcoholic :), and there are some of the lowest prices in Europe for almost everything.

Cheap tickets

I constantly buy air tickets for travel on the site. This service finds the cheapest air tickets, and does not charge a single penny for its services. I check other ticket search services several times a year, but only a few times found tickets cheaper than on Aviasales.

The cheapest air tickets to Prague can be purchased for November and February (in the cold season, tickets will cost 8500-10000 rubles) and for September (about 8000-9500 rubles). When buying tickets for the summer in advance (7-4 months before the departure date), you can also find an inexpensive option. The most expensive flights are in August.

Changes in the price of air tickets to Prague from Moscow

My journey to Prague started from Novosibirsk airport. A ticket for the Novosibirsk - Prague flight with a stopover in Kiev cost me 8950 rubles (if you wait or get to the sales of low-cost airlines - Pobeda, Ryanair, then it is quite possible to fly away for 4000-5000 rubles, it is a pity that they happen only a few times a year), 9 o'clock - and I'm already in Prague. For Muscovites, the flight is cheaper and faster (you can buy a ticket with early booking for 3500-6000 rubles).

Hotels

There are very comfortable hotels in Prague, it is a pleasure to live in them. I was looking for a hotel on the site, and some travelers in the old fashioned way are looking for hotels only on. Better to do a little differently, since Booking is not the only site where you can safely book good accommodation, there is also Agoda, Islet, Hotels.com, Amoma and many others, each site has its own price tag for a room in the same hotel. For example, let's take some random hotel in Prague, let it be Hotel Lunik 3 *, go to (this is the service I recommend for searching good hotels by low prices, it completely free allows you to compare prices for hotels from different companies and makes it possible to book a hotel with the best price / quality ratio), enter the name of this hotel and the service will show the affordable prices for rooms.

As you can see in the screenshot, it is cheaper to book this hotel on Ostrovka (the price on Ostrovka is 4250 rubles, and on Booking it is 5732 rubles, and this is the same type of room), for every day of stay we will save 1482 rubles, and for a 10-day vacation we will save will be 14,820 rubles. Agree, this is a good amount that can be spent on entertainment, shopping, or simply saved for everyday needs at home. Moreover, this method of saving works for all price categories of hotels (be it very cheap, medium or very expensive). It is important to know that when looking for hotels, you need to look specifically on RoomGuru, and not just now constantly go to Islet, because with the same success we could find a lower price on Agoda, Hotels.com, Amoma and others. I will give a table comparing Booking and RoomGuru, which shows which service wins in what in my opinion (the opinion is purely personal and does not pretend to be true in the first instance).

Comparison of Booking and RoomGuru

RoomGuru allows you to immediately compare all hotel booking services and displays best price, by which you can book a room, it is fast, profitable and safe, moreover, the service does not take a commission for the selection of a hotel Thanks to the many options that can be selected when searching, in a matter of minutes I was able to book a hotel that suits all my requirements (not too far from the center, good feedback(score over 7.5), not far from a large transport hub, air conditioning when traveling in summer, low price). So I recommend it right now.

Rental of property

Some travelers are considering renting an apartment instead of staying in a hotel. This method has both pluses and minuses, although recently this method of housing search has increased its disadvantages. The main disadvantages of renting housing from owners: a low level of security, there is always a chance to run into a problem owner, who, after paying for housing, may put forward new requirements (check-in later, check-out earlier, you need to go to another part of the city for the keys), or housing in general do not correspond to the photographs (in some cases, recently, the owners add fake reviews to their housing with the help of their relatives and friends, so it is sometimes difficult to determine where the rental announcement corresponds to reality).

Renting an apartment from the owner allows you to be in a "home" environment, but on the other hand, there are no tourist services provided in hotels (ready-made food, drinks, constant change of linen, quick elimination of housing problems (for example, if the air conditioner stops working in a hotel room, then it They will immediately come and fix it, but when renting an apartment, the landlord will most likely solve housing problems after your departure, and you will have to live in a stuffy apartment, which in summer is a huge inconvenience.) In general, it is better and safer to stay in hotels , so the occurrence of troubles on vacation is practically impossible.

Rent suitable option housing (apartments, houses and even rooms) in Prague is available on the Airbnb website. Let's figure out how to book an apartment in the main city of the Czech Republic.
How to book an apartment or house on your own through the service? Step-by-step instruction:

  • The first thing to do is read and get the one provided when you first rent your home.
  • After receiving the coupon and registering, you need to select a city, in our case, this is Prague.
  • In the third step, you need to fill in the number of people who will be settled with you in the chosen apartment. It is also important to indicate the period for which you will need housing.
  • In the next step, you can choose a budget option for yourself from the list of presented apartments in the desired area of the city.
  • Further, you should familiarize yourself with all the rules of settling in the apartment you like, find out the full cost for accommodation, including the service commission.

Any service that provides an opportunity to rent housing from owners has security problems, but you can protect yourself a little by reading, you can read reviews about the service.

When is the best time to go to Prague

Prague is remarkable because you can go here at any time of the year. The climate is mild, summers are not too hot and winters are not too cold. Therefore, it is better to choose dates for travel based on the convenience of the trip (planned vacation, unexpected desire to fly abroad to relax, a festive family event, etc.) and low prices for air tickets (sometimes a difference of - / + 3 days from the expected departure date in travel allows you to buy air tickets with a savings of 10-20%).

Tall tourist season in the Czech Republic it starts in May and lasts until the end of September. During these months it is worth good weather(although there can sometimes be very hot days in July and August), a minimum of rain, which greatly facilitates the inspection of a large number of attractions, all museums and entertainment venues are open (in winter, some of them are closed). But it is important to bear in mind that in summer hotel prices are slightly higher than in the off-season.

Another period of influx of tourists to Prague is mid-December-mid-January. At this time, there are many who want to see the magnificent Prague in winter, and Christmas and new year holidays it is well promoted. Prices from mid-December to mid-January increase compared to October and November, but it is still worth visiting Prague at least once in the winter, as it is really beautiful and interesting here.

Documentation

The Czech Republic is part of the Schengen area and the European Union, which means that the list of documents for traveling to this country is as follows:

  • international passport

Because I already had a foreign passport, and the previous visa was already expired, then for a trip to Prague, I myself only had to issue a new visa (which I received within 2 weeks) and (I issued it online in 10 minutes).

Money

To travel to Prague, you need to take Czech crowns, euros and a bank card. I took 5,000 Czech crowns, 200 euros, and the rest of the money was on a ruble bank card. I recommend reading the article about how not every card is suitable for paying for purchases in another country.

But since everyone is used to having a rest in different ways, then everyone's budgets will not be the same. Therefore, be sure to find out that the trip was exactly the way it was planned, because if you take less money than you need, you will not be able to buy what you planned and you will not be able to go where you wanted. It is worth mentioning separately, because at home, it makes no sense to transfer all the money for holidays into Czech crowns, it is much more convenient and practical to exchange only part of the money for Czech currency, leave the other part on the card to pay for purchases with it (to save money, you can issue a bank card with conversion at the rate Central Bank, ie no commission, for example, the Kukuruza card), and if this money is not enough, then already then cash out part of the card Money in Prague, you just need to know where it can be done in the most profitable and safe way, so as not to get into trouble.

sights

I just wandered around Prague for several days. It is very interesting for me to observe the ordinary life of the local population from the outside. And after this "mini-surveillance" I went sightseeing. Some places I have already visited on previous trips, some were new. But I was really impressed by the beautiful views of Prague from a height, with. And here is my list of the most memorable sights in Prague:

  • Wenceslas Square
  • The Charles Bridge
  • Kampa Museum
  • Prague Castle
  • St. Vitus Cathedral
  • Old Town Square
  • dancing House

If you are going to visit many attractions and often use public transport, then buy the Prague Card. This is a card that provides substantial discounts (up to 50%) on visits to attractions, shows, museums, exhibitions and many other bonuses. You can buy a Prague Card on the official website of the card, it is also indicated there detailed information... If you want to see interesting places in Prague as part of an excursion group or hire individual guide, then use the site where you can choose such an excursion in Prague that will suit all your requirements and bring a lot of new and interesting things to your trip. You can read more about excursions in this wonderful city.

Routes

Excursions

Self-sightseeing is certainly good, but professional guides allow you to get more information and more interesting time in the Czech capital. They will tell amazing facts about Prague, about its museums, exhibitions, memorable places. Without a guide, it is often not clear why this or that exhibit, landmark, place is so important for history. I recommend purchasing at least one excursion in Prague in order to fully immerse yourself in the history of this amazing city... Sightseeing tours are very popular in Prague. walking tours, excursions to drinking establishments in search of the best beer, as well as excursions with photo sessions (after all, it's so nice to remember pleasant moments in Prague after looking at photos with you taken by a professional photographer). Excursions of any type can be purchased on the website, this service allows you to book an excursion from local Russian-speaking guides at low prices in a few minutes.

Transport

To visit at least a small part of the famous sights of Prague, you need to choose suitable view transport that will take you to the desired place, fortunately there is plenty to choose from. At your service are the metro, trams, buses, ferries and funiculars, I advise you in more detail in order to inexpensively and quickly move around the Czech capital. To save money, it is best to purchase a single ticket, which can be used in any type of transport, this pass will save you a lot of money.

For those who want to relax as comfortable as possible and quickly get to the desired place, I advise. If you book a car in advance, then you will not have to pay so much.

Shopping

Prague is a great place to shop. The prices are not high in comparison with the major fashion cities (Milan, Paris, London), but the quality is very decent. You can find out about large shopping centers, tricks and opening times of stores at or just read the information about and buy everything there. Specifically, it has been written about sales, this information can save you up to 80% of the money set aside for purchases, so do not be lazy to familiarize yourself.

Prices in Prague

Prices in the Czech capital for food, household items, dinner in a restaurant and cafe do not differ much from Moscow prices, something is more expensive, something is cheaper, but the average price level is just slightly lower than in Moscow. Compared to Paris and London, it is quite cheap here, so even a long trip to the Czech Republic will not hit your wallet hard. Here are the statistics of the cost of living index (spending on daily life in some European cities for price comparison).

Prague has the same price level rules as others large cities Europe. The closer to the center, the higher the prices. If you want to save money, then choose shops, cafes, restaurants away from the crowds of tourists, even if some institution does not speak English, then you can always communicate in sign language (everyone is fine with this). For example, you can go to a cafe on the outskirts of the city, which will not be designed for tourists, but in which prices are significantly lower than in the center. Translating the menu from Czech will be helped by a translator on the phone, and sometimes this is not necessary at all, since the menu may be accompanied by photographs of dishes.

I will give the prices in Prague for some goods and expenses in cafes / restaurants:

Name Price (RUB) Price (CZK)

Travel cost

Independent travel is good because only you determine its cost. Different people are used to traveling in different ways. Someone needs luxury hotels and first class plane tickets, while others live in hostels and fly in economy class. I can tell you that on average, a two-week trip to Prague requires 75,000 rubles per person, for two - 95,000 rubles, but these figures can vary significantly. I have friends who travel around the world for 10,000 rubles a month, they just use free ways to travel and live abroad. A lot has been written about such methods on this blog. I spent on mine independent travel to Prague in 11 days about 68,000 rubles, but do not forget that I am from Novosibirsk and therefore the air tickets cost me more than the residents of the European part of the Russian Federation.

In order to make it easier for you to determine the budget for your specific trip, I will give you approximate items of expenses for a trip to Prague. It is important to keep in mind that prices are given for clarity. I repeat that the requests, opportunities and style of rest for all people are different, therefore, the travel budget is different for everyone, but these figures still allow you to estimate how much you yourself will spend in the Czech Republic. It is more important for someone to see as many attractions as possible, so with a limited budget, he / she may not go to restaurants or buy clothes, and spend the money saved on tickets to museums and excursions, and someone cannot imagine a trip to Prague without bypassing several of the best breweries, so he prefers to spend a large amount in them, "biting off" the budget from trips to attractions. Well, if you are a shopaholic, then it will be difficult to predict the total costs, because there are a lot of good shops in Prague, here you need to estimate the budget based on past travels, someone buys clothes they like in fashion boutiques for several thousand dollars in the city center, and someone prefers not to spend large sums on shopping, limiting their spending on it and going to Czech outlets during the sales season.

The characteristics of the trip are as follows: prices are for a trip to Prague for one person (calculated for 2019), departure from Moscow, round-trip air tickets, summer months, the cost of air tickets for a "small budget" is given when buying them on a special offer (which can only be a few once a year, in order to buy them, you just need to monitor prices throughout the year), other expenses make up 10% of the total budget. To get an approximate cost for 2 people, multiply the numbers by 1.8 for a "small budget" and 1.6 for a "medium budget" (booking a 2-bed room is cheaper than 2 single rooms, food costs too are somewhat reduced, and sometimes you can save money on excursions if you go on them together).

Tour VS independent travel

It is important to take into account that I have given the amount of expenses for all items of expenditure, and not only for the flight and the hotel, as is done when selling cheap tours. Some people seeing that the cost organized recreation from the tour operator may be slightly lower than the indicated amount for an independent trip, they prefer to buy a tour, but it is important to understand that the tour, as a rule, includes only the same flights and cheap hotel(and often with a not very convenient location and poor food), and you have to pay extra for everything else. When traveling to the Czech capital on a tour, you will have to pay extra for insurance, visa, excursions, food, transport, souvenirs, clothes shopping. As a result, we get that a trip to Prague at the suggestion of a tour operator is more often more expensive than an independent trip, prepared with knowledge of the ways to save on trips abroad, indicated in this article.

Also remember that an independent trip to Prague will give a lot more positive emotions, you can adapt the trip to your ideas about an ideal vacation, go on those excursions and see exactly those sights that you think are interesting and deserving special attention, live in a comfortable and a safe area, allocate time for shopping, sightseeing, cafes and restaurants as you feel comfortable and in accordance with your rhythm of life.

We go to the store and cook ourselves

This section is for those who, during a trip to the Czech Republic, have the opportunity and desire to cook themselves, which will save the travel budget. Food prices in the country are reasonable, although they are higher than in Moscow. Let's calculate what the food costs will be in this case.

Bread costs 20-30 CZK. Some prices for bread and flour products can be viewed in the photo on the right, click on the photo to enlarge.

So, if you take the minimum set of products for preparing the first and second courses, a hearty breakfast and a light dinner for a family of two, then spending will be about 700 CZK per day (excluding drinks or alcohol).

The joy of first acquaintance with a new country can easily be overshadowed on the very first day. After all, an inexperienced traveler is trapped by tourist traps at every step - one has only to go to a cafe, shop or currency exchange office, not knowing certain nuances. However, every scrap has its own trick .. Our advice will surely help you not only save money, but also avoid becoming a victim of Prague scammers.

Trap # 1. What do you do first when you arrive in new country? Change money. And here the first Prague trap lies in wait for you - one of the most important in Prague. The exchange offices of the capital of the Czech Republic operate hidden commission... Even if the window says “0% commission”, this does not guarantee you that you will receive as many crowns as you calculated at the specified rate. Therefore, ask about the amount that you will receive BEFORE you give the currency in the window. Because then you will not be able to do anything - the banking operation has no reverse. And neither scandals nor calling the police will help you.

You can protect yourself from the nervous procedure of currency exchange - go to Arab exchange offices. Yes, the Arabs are the most honest in Prague! There you will not be charged any commission, the employee will first show you the final amount on a calculator.

Here are some addresses of Arab exchange offices in Prague:

1. Lane Provaznická;

2. Panská 6;

3. Panská 4;

4. Náměstí Republiky 1 in mall Palladium

Trap number 2. The second pitfall is also related to the exchange of money. Never, under any circumstances, change money in Prague on the street, with your hands - you will be slipped into Hungarian forints, which are remotely similar to Czech crowns and cost almost nothing, or Bulgarian levs.

Trap number 3. The portions in Prague cafes are huge. With a few exceptions, one portion is quite enough for two - the dishes in Prague are not only large, but also very satisfying. However, waiters are unlikely to warn you that it is better to order boar knee for two. Therefore, if you do not know the dish, order one first. If it is not enough for you, you can always order more. This will save you some money. If you still haven't calculated your strength, you don't have to waste away over a plate like Koschei over gold - you can always take away the half-eaten by asking the waiter to pack the food.

Trap number 4. Also related to food, cafes and waiters. And where the waiters are - there is a tip. Remember: in Prague it is forbidden to include tips in the bill. They are left to the discretion of the visitor. Therefore, if in the check you see the line "сouvert" or "сouvertа" with the nth amount opposite - cross it out if you do not agree with the indicated amount. Some establishments may include both 15% and 20% tips in the bill. Even if they start arguing with you, call the police - you are right!

Trap number 5. Controllers in public transport Prague is not recognizable in any way - no badges, no corporate uniform. A man with a token in his hand will just grow up in front of you. The fine for travel without a ticket in Prague is up to 1200 CZK, or € 50. Therefore, if this money in your wallet is not superfluous, buy coupons!

The fare collection system in Prague is different from what we are used to. In the capital, there are unified coupons for all types of transport, differentiated by travel time. If you do not plan to travel a lot by metro, you can buy a ticket for 30 minutes - 24 kroons. 30 minutes is enough to take the metro from the center of Prague to a remote residential area such as Prague 10. If you expect to travel frequently by metro, buy a three-day pass or a weekly pass.

Important! If you are planning a late return to the hotel, leave a change for the machines in the metro - the ticket offices close at 20.00 and after that time you can buy a ticket only at the machine.

Trap # 6. You can pay for purchases in some shops in Prague not only in Czech crowns, but also in euros. But in this case, the seller tells you the course he wants. Naturally, it will be beneficial to him, and not to you.

Trap # 7. Be careful when making payments in shops and especially in taxis - instead of a coin with a denomination of 50 kroons (about € 2), you may be given 10 or 20 kroons outwardly similar to it in change.

Trap # 8. In Prague, unlike, for example, Krakow, the entrances to almost all churches and cathedrals are paid. Yes, the Czechs do not hesitate to take money for visiting shrines, and sometimes a lot. Add this expense item to your list of estimated expenses.

Trap number 9. Tax free in Prague, in some stores, you can return it on the spot - directly to the card. However, it is very easy to get into trouble here, since this service is best used by those who plan to fly from the Czech Republic by air. In the store you will be given a long orange check, which must be “cleared” at the airport and thrown into a special box. The catch is that it can ONLY be repaid at the airport. If you are leaving by land transport, this cannot be done at the border - it is not provided for by the procedure. Upon arrival home, the check will have to be mailed back. And if he does not have time to return on time or gets lost somewhere along the way, the money returned to you from the purchase will simply be debited from the card. Therefore, in the case of ground departure, issue a regular Tax free check in a Czech store. The minimum purchase amount must be CZK 2,000 (€ 73) in one store in one day.

Trap # 10. Alcohol import rate in Belarus - 3 liters INCLUDING beer. Therefore, everything that is in excess of the norm, even if it is Pilsner Urquell straight from the plant in Pilsen, at the border will either have to be drunk on the spot or thrown away. There is no third.

Trap # 11. Overpriced in tourist spots- it's a common thing. Therefore, so that you do not overpay, we offer you a certain price indicator. From it, you can determine if the prices in the cafe are too high. So, in a cafe, prices are reasonable if: a glass of Czech beer costs up to 35 Czech crowns, and a glass of Czech wine costs up to 40 Czech crowns.

But the famous Czech "Becherovka", which many carry as a souvenir, should cost no more than 180 Czech crowns per bottle. Everything else is the machinations of greedy businessmen. By the way, it is best to buy Becherovka in its homeland - in Karlovy Vary, in a company store.

Trap # 12. Turkish gold is most often sold in Prague jewelry stores.

Trap # 13. Going for a walk around Prague, be sure to take your documents with you - a passport, insurance. Leave the photocopies of your passport at the hotel. Often travel agency managers advise to do the opposite, but in Prague this rule works exactly like this: with you - only originals of documents.

We wish you a pleasant first acquaintance with Prague. As, in fact, and the second - rest assured, you will return there again! Checked on myself.

Join our friendly team in

The trip to Prague is considered to be one of the best tourist routes on the map of Eastern Europe. Traditionally, friendly and neighborly relations continue to be maintained between Russia and the Czech Republic. Therefore, our tourists, even having gone abroad for the first time, always feel calm and comfortable in Prague. The atmosphere of an old fairytale city gives a lot of new interesting impressions and discoveries, allows you to relax and enjoy exciting excursions, incendiary concerts and parties, rich European shopping. How much money to take with you to Prague is, of course, a purely individual question, but the list of basic expenses is universal for every tourist.

Urban transport costs

Of course, one of the symbols of the Czech capital is the famous Prague tram, which is successfully replicated on postcards and souvenirs. However, in addition to trams, Prague has a well-developed metro and bus system. Before planning a trip, many tourists make a common mistake, believing that Prague is a small town and can be easily explored on foot. However, in practice, such walks are quite tedious, so it is better to plan ahead for transportation costs.

Arriving in Prague, you can immediately purchase universal tickets for all types of local transport. These passes are usually purchased with cash and are used for a long time:

  • One day. The ticket is sold for 110 CZK
  • 3 days. The cost of the pass will be 310 CZK
  • Month. Monthly passes are not very popular. Such tickets are usually bought by those who live and work in Prague on a permanent basis. A ticket for 30 days will cost 670 CZK

In general, it turns out that a week of active trips around Prague will cost about 600 kroons (or 22 euros) per adult. If you are traveling with children, then tickets for them will be 2 times cheaper. In addition, a child does not need to pay anything for a child who has not yet turned 6 years old.

Excursion tours

Finding a Russian-speaking guide in Prague is not a problem. You can either choose a suitable travel agency on site, or search in advance for various offers on the Internet - just type the word "Prague" in any search engine. For those who travel alone or in the company of their close friends and relatives, the so-called "personal" tours are suitable. A maximum of five tourists can sign up for such an excursion. The standard time lasts about 2 hours, and the guides charge about 100 euros for the payment.

Private tours are different from group tours about the same as classes with a tutor from lectures in a noisy crowded auditorium. In the allotted time, you can learn more interesting information, chat, ask all your questions.

However. for the tourist budget, ordinary excursions are much more profitable, when 20-30 people follow the guide at the same time. Educational walks of this format will cost you only 20 euros. The main thing is to arm yourself with a camera in advance and capture all city panoramas and sights. As a rule, one such city tour is enough to get to know Prague well.

Thus, for excursions, you can set aside from 20 to 100 euros, depending on your preferences and financial capabilities.

Shopping

As in any European country, seasonal clothing sales are popular in the Czech Republic. In addition, you can always buy interesting souvenirs for every taste and budget. For shopping, it is most convenient to keep money on a bank card, since non-cash payments are ubiquitous. Shopping expenses start at € 100.

Restaurants and cafes

Prague is a great gourmet destination. Literally at every step you can find a cozy pub or restaurant with a huge assortment of dishes and drinks. For a full breakfast, lunch and dinner, one person will need about 50 euros per day.

Castles and museums

As you know, before visiting the famous medieval architectural monuments, you usually have to buy entrance ticket... In this case, payment is mainly made only in cash. To get around all the main attractions, you need to set aside about 70 euros.

Additional spending

If you have already calculated how much money to take to Prague, be sure to add at least another 100-200 euros to this amount for additional expenses. As you know, there is always a desire to buy more souvenirs or visit more attractions than planned. In addition, it is advisable to take into account force majeure situations.

In total

At least one person for a vacation in Prague needs from 800 to 1000 euros. Of course, if desired, these standard costs can always be increased: we live, as you know, once. For a more accurate budgeting of the trip, you need to decide on your travel plan in Prague, on how to do it.

It all depends on what you are planning to buy, what excursions to visit. In principle, 20,000 rubles was enough for two of us. At the same time, we did not deny ourselves anything, we visited many interesting places, went to restaurants several times. If you plan to buy something, then you should take more money, otherwise it may not be enough. In general, everything is individual. It's just worth calculating your planned expenses in advance.

My wife and I have enough 60 Euro per day for two for the eyes. Plus souvenirs for friends and acquaintances. There is no point in using a taxi in Prague - transport works like a clock.

How much money to take to Prague everyone decides for himself. Again, it all depends on what services you have already ordered and managed to pay in Moscow. It's one thing if you have already paid for your accommodation and you need cash exclusively for food and entertainment, and quite another if you are not ahead of the place of residence and plan to pay for everything on the spot. This also applies to excursions.

€ 500 per person for a week is enough. Everything is really pretty cheap there. True, at the current rate, any trip abroad will cost a pretty penny.

It is impossible to unequivocally answer the question - how much money it is impossible to take on a trip around the Czech Republic. Everything here is very individual and depends on your habits and preferences. Where will you eat, are you going to buy souvenirs, will you book excursions, etc. I will tell you from my own experience. No matter how much money you take, everything will not be enough)))) Usually 50-100 euros per day is enough for me to deny myself absolutely nothing. I heard that some 20 euros are enough for the eyes.
