Independent trip to India. Bright and memorable journey in India: What is worth knowing an inexperienced tourist independent travel to India

Another article from our friend Denis Bashmakov. Denis committed independent travel to India. On the pages of your blog, he tells about traveling in India yourself and what you need to know Those who are just going to go to learn this country. At the end of the article there will be a link to his blog, I advise you to subscribe.

Long I'm going to write about my semi-annual traveling in India Yes, everything will not find time. And now the moment came. Next to pull nowhere.

I'll start with the following. India is uniquely the country that everyone costs to visit everyone. Not the fact that everyone likes it. And all because people are different and everyone has their own personal experience Behind the shoulders, their vision and worldview. But, certainly, everyone will find something in India.

These six months flying unnoticed and I really enjoyed staying in this beautiful country. True, as in all and everywhere, at the end I was a little fed up - it was felt that it was necessary to change the situation. And this is normal.

My start from landing in Delhi, in which I eventually spent about 2-3 weeks in a total of and then the roads led me there, but I tried to drive around it. Fair. Especially did not hooked the city. Very noisy, many people, traffic jams, dust, dirt, stinks, etc. Yes, there are also areas more consistent, but in general the picture is similar to those described above.
In addition, there are many attractions and historical placeswhich can be visited.

Agra. The city in which I was advised to go and see one of the seven wonders of the world - Tajmal in my india's independent journey. But I did not go. Why? I did not feel that I should be there yes, besides, just for the entrance to pay 750 rupees - I did not see the point at all. According to many, in addition to this miracle there is nothing more to look, and the surroundings look far from attractive.

Journey in India yourself: what you need to know

Yes. It is worth noting about tickets to these tourist places. As a rule, the price for local and foreigners differs 10-20 times. These struck me very much every time. Therefore, in many cases, I only photographed outside or found the way to pass for free, which was much less likely. Examples of prices. For local - 10 rupees, for foreigners 200-300. And so almost everywhere. Yes, there are places where you can go through the same prices as local. For example, in the Zoo in Trivandrum I passed for 20 rupees and 4 rupees gave for a storage chamber. There are such places too. Since my journey is budget, I still tried not to spend money on expensive tickets.

Travel to India independently: cities

More than B. traveling in Indiai liked the following cities:
- Chandigarh - for the fact that there is quite clean and well-kept. The whole city is divided into sectors and easy to deal with the map. There are parks in each sector. In general, a convenient city for education, work, life and education of children.

- Udaipur - city of lakes. Beautiful place. Tourist town. There is no urban transport - it was launched, but he was unprofitable. Therefore, in the city you can only notice Tuk-Tuki. And I initially tried to understand why so. Only then, one of the local voiced the answer to the question tormenting me.

- Mumbai (Bombay) is the city of possibilities, the capital of Bollywood. Here you can find absolutely everything. Whether one of the world's largest slums, or one of the most expensive real estate in the world, as well as the richest owners. It is very big. It is convenient that the railway network covers the entire city with suburbs and is quite easy and convenient to get from one place to another, bypassing the plugs. Yes, and prices are very low. For 10 rupees you can go about an hour. Tickets do not particularly check. Therefore, you can play hares.

- Wichapatnam. City in East India, Andra Pradesh staff. Very clean, comfortable and modern city. Wide streets beautiful expensive and movement. In general, everything for life. According to my friend, who invited me there, 20 years ago the city looked as well as many indian citiesI imagined to see. But recently, residents and administration have been so actively fought for improvement - the results are evident. You can only add that there is nothing possible - there would be a desire and actively participation.

India Travel Alone: Places

- Ashram Sai Baba is a wonderful place where you can prone and cheap time. I already wrote about him earlier. Short. This is a minorrod with everything necessary on the territory of the complex. You can live from 20-50 rupees per day and an unlimited amount of time.

- Munnar - tea plantations -Un and quiet edges, fresh air and just one pleasure there is located. True, I mean the areas of plantations themselves, and not the town that has already become very tourist and the price there is very high. It is possible to spend the night in Munnar from 500 rupees and higher.

- Gokkarna. Bigger nice beach. Very calm and cozy place to relax with your family or even one if you distract from everything.

While the list of places and cities is such.

All India, all the cities have become one big market at the end of the end. Where you will not come - the market. Absolutely everywhere. It does not matter how modern the city is.

India Independent Travel: Transport

Traveling in India yourself: what else needs to know. In India, great many different vehicle - Starting from bicycles, ending with big wagons. No one keeps the rules. On the roads are always noisy due to constant signals of all drivers. Thus, they warn it. Like, "I'm going for you, do not do sharp movements." Machines are almost all scratched and broken, many old buses. It was even helped to start one with a pusher and then left on it. But despite the movement and non-compliance with the rules, everything is quite normally cut. It should be noted that Probably Indian bus drivers are one of the most skillful.

Sometimes you follow - after all, do not drive, but no. Drive and without scratches and touch with each other. Roads in most cases are very narrow. Public transport Cheap, which allows not bad to save denyuzhki.

Train I. railways This is a separate world. Prices are also democratic. Visit India and do not ride in the Geniel class car, then a lot of missing. At the station you can practically live. There are all the conditions. In the waiting rooms you can find and outlets and shower, and toilet. Also on the perforations are cranes where you can dial drinking water, in some cases it is possible to find a cooler with cold water. True, the guys will be too docked on hygiene, and for nothing in the world will not drink such water, only in the bottle. Well, to solve you.

People

This is what, but more people are clinging to me. It does not matter in which state you will find - everywhere I met beautiful, kind and interesting people. Yes. They differ depending on the regions. But everywhere they are ready to help you, treat, and sometimes invite.

I do not know why, Sikhi is a people living in Parjab, left some of the best memories. With them, I have repeatedly met in other areas. They are the same open. I will no longer write about people anymore, there are more emotions and feelings inside that I find it difficult to express in words.

Yes, it is worth saying that the Indians struck me by what is not important in which position they are, whether they have money or not, etc. "They always smile and felt that they are satisfied with what they have." This is definitely worth it for them. Even a disabled person without hands or feet, will always meet you with a smile and satisfied face, despite your condition and difficult conditions.

In many ways, found similarities between India and Russia. Salary (at the time of my stay there) turned out to be approximately similar. Vegetables and fruits grown in the fields are largely the same, with the exception of more southern crops and varieties. Roads as well.

Food in India

Mostly sharp. But you can find and not very. Very much rice. In the south and north the food is different. Also from state to state. But everywhere you can find something for yourself, from which you will not be able to refuse. And sweets most often very sweet. Many diverse fruits that fit in India will enjoy.

India is a center of meditation and yoga. No wonder people go throughout the world. I immediately say, I was not in Rishikeche. There all are sent. It so happened that the first time in my life it was in India that I tried the yoga and passed the meditation. Beautiful things worth useing.

Perhaps the result of a different kind of you wanted to hear, but it turned out exactly such. I will only say the next thing, I will still definitely return to India. She really hooked me (even being in Thailand - now I am lying in a tent on a huge refueling on the road towards Phuket - I constantly remember India and already miss those times).

True, when I find there, the question of time.

My dear friend, if you were not yet in this amazing country - India, be sure to be there to be there. And, yes, it is better not like a tourist, but as a traveler to see real India. Travel Friends and Expand your horizons!

It was the story of Denis Bashmakov about Author: Denis Bashmakov, Blog

It turned out that in a small, relatively secluded town of Revalsar, we arrived quite late enough, so late that the small, sleepy and lazy provincial hotels were hard to mess with our settlement. The hosts of the hotel shrugged, shouted their heads and waving their hands somewhere toward the night slammed the doors in front of our nose. But we willingly, the truth was not free of charge for residence in the guest house in Tibetan buddhist monastery On the shore of the lake.

As it happens often for Tibetan places, the Hindu was engaged in our meeting and accommodation, since it was not necessary to deal with Tibetan monks to make money and worldly issues. In addition, the monastery was no longer the first hour was immersed in night darkness, and the monks should have to sleep, so that tomorrow early in the morning it was necessary to go to meditation to meditation tomorrow early in the morning. About this and other sores of the world told the Hindu who gave us the keys to hotel roomAnd even at least somehow console yourself persistently recommended us to visit this event at seven in the morning.

The main topics are lower: buses and trains, flights and visas, health and hygiene, safety, route, hotels, food, necessary budget. The relevance of this text is spring 2017.

Hotels

"Where will I live there?", For some reason, this question is very much, it just strains those who have not traveled in India. There is no such problem. Hotels there Pond pond. The main thing to choose. Then we are talking about inexpensive, budget hotels.

In my experience there are three basic ways to find a hotel.

Spiral

Usually you will arrive in new town bus or train. So there are almost always a great mass of hotels around them. Therefore, it is enough to move away from the place of arrival and start walking in a circle with an increasing radius to come across many hotels. Inscription "Hotel" In the significant territory of India denotes the place where you can have a snack, so the signboards are the main landmarks "Guest House" and "Lounge".

In the zones of mass idle (Goa, the resorts of Kerala, Himalayas) are the private sector, well, as we have on the Black Sea coast. There it is possible about housing to be interested in the local population and navigate on the signs " Rent". In Buddhist places you can live in monasteries, in Hindu in Ashrama.

The further move away from the bus station or railway station, the lower the price, but the hotels are ever less and less. So inspect several hotels acceptable by price and quality and return to the selected one.

If you travel by a group, then you can send one or two people in search of the hotel, while the rest are waiting at the train station with things.

If the hotel refuses and say that the hotel is only for the Hindus, then insist on the settlement almost useless.

Ask a taxi driver

For those who have a lot of luggage or just look for laziness. Or I want to settle near the sights, for example, Taj Mahal, and not at the station. Also in major cities There are places of traditional tourist accumulations: in Delhi it is Maine Bazaar, in Calcutta, it is a cereal of Street, in Bombay, too, somehow called, but I forgot, that is, there in any case you have to go.

In this case, find the driver of Motoriksha or a taxi and put the task where you want to live in what conditions and for what about money. In this case, you can sometimes bring to needed hotel, even show some seats to choose from. It is clear that the price is immediately increasing, it is pointless to bargain, since the taxi driver's commission has already been included. But sometimes, when lazy or in the middle, it is quite convenient to use this method.

Book online

This is for those who love certainness and guarantees, greater comfort and less adventure.

Well, if you book in advance, then book hotels and not too cheap (at least $ 30-40 per room), because otherwise there is no guarantee that in reality everything will be so beautiful as in the photos. I also complained that sometimes came to the booked hotel, and the rooms, despite the reservations were already busy. The owners of the hotel were not embarrassed, they said that a customer came with money, and the wills of the will to refuse not enough to customer with cash. Money was returned, of course, but still insulting.

Search, settlement and accommodation in low-cost Indian hotels can be independent adventure, the source of fun, and sometimes not very funny memories. But it will be that at home then tell.

Technology settling

 • Free from the presence of "Hindu helper" and called, their presence automatically increases the cost of settlement.
 • Come to the hotel that seems worthy of you and ask how much it costs and decisive whether it is worth living there, at the same time you have time to evaluate the interior and help.
 • Be sure to ask for a show before settling, show all your kind of discontent and indignation, ask to show another number, most likely it will be better. So you can make several times, seeking all the best placement conditions.

Those who are interested in the energy of Osho and Buddha, meditation and India, we invite you all on a trip to the places where it was born, I lived the first years of life and gained the enlightenment of the greatest mystic 20th century Osho! In one trip, we are compatible with the exoticism of India, meditation, absorb energy seats Osho!

In Kuchwad, there is still a house that remained exactly as she was in the life of Osho. A small video "emotional impression" from visiting Kuchwada and House Osho.

Gadarwara

At the age of 7 years, Osho, together with his grandmother, moves to his parents in the small town of Gararwara, where his school years are held. By the way, the school class, where she studied Osho still exists, and there is even worth the party, followed by Osho. You can go to this class, sit at the desk, where in childhood there was so much time our favorite master spent so much time. Unfortunately, to get into this class is the case of the case and luck, depending on which teacher conducts classes in the classroom. But in any case, you can walk around the streets of Gadarvara, visit the primary and high school, the house where Osho lived, the beloved River Osho ...

Video from Ashrama Osho in Gadarvar

Jabalpur

Big city with more than a million inhabitants. In Jabalpur, Osho studied at the university, then he worked in him by the teacher and became a professor, but the main thing that at the age of the 21st year gained enlightenment, which happened to him in one of the Jabalpur parks, and the tree under which it happened still grows on Old place.

In Jabalpur, we will live in a quiet and cozy ashram with a magnificent park.

From Ashram it is easy to get to the marble cliffs - the miracle of nature, where he liked to spend time Osho during his stay in Jabalpur.

Varanasi

Varanasi is famous for its cremation bins, which are burning and afternoon, and at night. But there is also surprisingly a pleasant embankment, the famous temple of Cashie Vishvanath, boat walks on Gangu. Next to Varanasi is a small village of Sarnath, a famous fact that the Buddha read his first sermon, and the first listeners were ordinary deer.

Bodhgai

Place of enlightenment Buddha. In the main church of the city, which surrounds a beautiful and extensive park, the tree is still growing in the shade of which he gained the enlightenment of the Buddha.

In addition, in Bodhgaye, there are many very diverse buddhist temples Easmised by followers of Buddha from a variety of countries: China, Japan, Tibet, Vietnam, Thailand, Burma ... Every temple has its own unique architecture, the decoration carried out by ceremonies.

Kajuraho

Kajuraho itself is not directly connected with Osho, except that the Tatrian temples of Kajuraho Osho often mentioned, and his grandmother had a direct attitude towards Kajuraho.

India is an amazing and mysterious country that needs to be visited at least once in life. The trip will probably be interesting and filled with positive impressions, but it is necessary to prepare in advance.

In India, their traditions, laws and culture are desirable to familiarize themselves with them before arriving in the country so that the journey is not died of force majeure situations.

What sights worth seeing

Interesting places in India are more than enough, so many come here more than once to see as many attractions as possible. But there are several tourist objects that are considered a "mandatory program" for guests of the country.

Taj Mahal

The height of this mausoleum, built of white marble in Agra, is 74 meters. The construction of the structure lasted 20 years, more than 20 thousand workers were involved in the works.

Taj Mahal admires its flawlessness, harmoniousness and greatness. From all sides of the mausoleum decorated with a smooth marble - it is snow-white, in the rays of the sun creates the effect of the glow. On the walls you can see not only arabic liner, which quotes the suras from the Koran, but also precious stones, elegant threads. Special attention deserves openwork lattices on the windows of the Mausoleum - they seem to the outdates of the finest yarns and make the entire structure of "weightless".

Rules for visiting Mausoleum:

 • it is impossible to carry anything, except for the camera;
 • before entering the structure, shoes must be removed;
 • the inner decoration of the Taj Mahal cannot be photographed.

The majestic structure consisting of several Altarians dedicated to Krishna and his wife is in Delhi. Lakshmi-Narayana Temple is a unique architectural ensemble - In the center there is a chief altar where Krishna prayed, and along the walls there are prayer halls, where they turn to other gods (and in Hinduism an incredible amount).

The temple is surrounded by a beautiful park, in which there are fountains, and caves for meditation (created artificially), and a hotel for pilgrims. Here is the large library with the reading room.

Visiting this attraction is free, but at the entrance of tourists there are local residents who offer a small fee to spend a tour and show all the most curious. According to the allegations of experienced tourists, it is a useless occupation and a waste of money, because by the independently walking on the temple and the park can be seen much more.

Red Fort

The fort in Agra is located, is a fortress, which was a residence of the ruling genus during the Great Mongols. The structure is made of red brick - hence the name of the sights. Red Fort is cultural Heritage India, this object is included in the UNESCO list.

In this structure there are several front halls with marble and thread trim. They took their subjects ancient emperors, "secular parties" were held here.

The cost of the entrance ticket - 150 rupees (100 - 125 rubles). Tourist object accepts visitors all days of the week, except Monday, work time - 9-30 - 16-30.

Gardens Lodi.

In Delhi there is a city park considered the most beautiful place Capitals of India. It has a lot of alleys, lungs and flower beds. There are also their attractions of the Lod's gardens:

 • bonsai Park - miniature plants are collected here;
 • the reserve of butterflies - it is completely covered with a fine grid, more than 50 thousand flowering plants are planted on the territory;
 • ancient tips - they were built of stones, tops from turquoise, the surface of which is covered with calligraphic inscriptions.

Walking in the park of the Gardens of the Lodi can be a whole day - and this time is not enough to inspect all its corners. The entrance to the object is free, here you can often see meditating or engaged in yoga locals.

Temple of the Sun.

It is considered to be the highest achievement of Indian architecture, built a temple in the 13th century, when his steps were washed by sea waves. Now the sea retreated from the temple of the Sun for 3 km, the structure is partially destroyed, but remains majestic and interesting for visiting tourists.

Landmark is a landmark in Konarak, here in early December a dance festival is held. In this city, India is located and Archaeological Museum - It collected the sculptures of ancient times. Of particular interest is the 6-meter stove of the stone, which depicts the gods of 9 planets.

The entrance to the Temple of the Sun is free, all rooms are open for visiting tourists. Nearby is the pond of Chandborghag, considered sacred. According to legends, it was his water that he suffered people from leprosy.

Temple of Virupaksha

In the southern part of Goa are not only famous beaches of free and fun people, but also historical sights. One of the most visible is the temple of Virupaksha - an architectural structure that consists of 9 levels. They have sanctors, small temples for prayers to gods. On the walls of the temple you can see images of the mythical animals, artistic images of Shiva.

The elephant lives here, who blesses every visitor - you need to approach him and wait when his trunk will affect the head. For this elephant, it is customary to give small coins. On the territory of the Temple, Virupaksha freely live monkeys, accustomed to people and do not interfere with them to inspect the landmark.

You can only get into the temple on the presentation of the passport - there is a police officer at the entrance, which fixes each foreigner as a guest. The entrance is 2 rupees, you can bring fruit with you - they treat them everywhere driving monkeys.

It is only a "drop in the sea" regarding the sights of India! In fact, each of the described tourist facility has a few more, which deserves the attention of the country's guests.

Where to relax inexpensively, if you fly yourself

An independent visit to India can be comfortable and cheap. It is important to comply with some recommendations of experienced travelers:

 • Flights to India can be purchased in two versions - with a change without. In the first case, the cumulative fare will be cheaper, but direct flights will be able to get to the country much faster. The average price for the flight will be 25,000 rubles in both ends.
 • Book a hotel room in advance, and it is better to do it online. It is worth paying attention to 5 star hotels, but sometimes the lower level of hotels is great for temporary accommodation.
 • If you decide to look for a hotel on arrival at the place of rest, you need to do it near the arrival station, moving along the "Spirals". The farther from this place the hotel will be located, the cheaper it will cost in it. By the way, you can bargain with the administration and reduce the price of the number, and if it looks loudly outraged and demand better conditionsSurely 2 more options will be offered.
 • To visit India, you need a visa, it is drawn up for 4 days and costs about 3000 rubles. You can get it in the Embassy of the country, in special agencies, and submit documents - online.
 • Visiting the attractions of the country is most often for free, but even the specified value for entrance ticket Will not hit the wallet. The inconvenience is that they will have to move around the country, and this can be done using the bus or rented car. The second option is preferable - it will be possible to see curious places during trips, and the independent distribution of time is much more convenient.

In India, you can relax for 50,000 rubles and for half a million, it all depends on what purpose the journey was organized. The average cost of recreation in this country for 2 people will be about 250,000 rubles, but you can arrange a trip and cheaper.

Food in India

Many are confident that all dishes in India are very sharp. This is not a complete truth about the kitchen of the country, so it is worth remembering the following:

The same dish in different states of India is prepared in a special way, so it is worth trying different options. The only thing that all tourists claim is the Indians are really tasty. Food poisoning rarely occur - products are treated very high temperaturesTherefore, bacteria and viruses simply do not survive.

Look at the video about the features of Indian cuisine:

What you need to know about rest in India

Those who are going on the first journey, you need to remember the following nuances:

India is so interesting countryThat here will be comfortable and married couples, and tourists with children. If you comply with certain rules and listen to the recommendations of already experienced travelers, the trip will be cheap, comfortable and saturated with pleasant impressions.

You have long dreamed of going to India, the country of dreams, fairy tales and legends. The terrible stories of others are not frightened about what is dirty there, a lot of poor and you can get very sick. Then this charming country is waiting for you! Of course, it requires special attention and training, here is their laws, culture and traditions that must be observed. This edge can be given the most different epithets to infinity, but whatever dreams and desire to do you there, several tips will never interfere.

1. Choose the best time to travel to India

India is beautiful at any time of the year. It is believed that the most suitable time for recreation is the period from October to March. However, if you choose the alpine areas of the country, then the summer months also fit perfectly.

2. Purchase ticket purchase

If you have not had time to purchase covert pieces, it can be done without leaving your own sofa. Today, many sites specialize in finding the most profitable offers of at once all airlines. In addition, you can independently identify convenient departure dates and find tickets with a big discount. Moreover, air carriers regularly arrange various promotions and discounts. It is also worth taking care of housing in advance. In advance, and your rest will not be overshadowed.

3. Vaccinations from diseases

Do not panic, you can do well and without vaccinations, observing the simple rules of hygiene. Do not forget to wash your hands, fruits and vegetables. It is not necessary to eat at once what you bought from street traders if the product was not subjected to thermal processing. Also do not drink water from the crane and other sources, it is better to buy it in bottles. To get used to local food to local food, you can dine at first in European restaurants.

4. Travel in India yourself

Once you are a little comfortable, you can safely leave the crowd of tourists and go to single swimming. India is a country that does not tolerate templates and stamps. She is ready to open his own, personal, not known to anyone.

5. The fragrance of India is unique!

No matter how you prepare yourself to smell, at first they will chase you everywhere. The smell of garbage dumps, closely intertwined with flavors of spices and incense, causing constantly wrinkling his nose. You do not need to worry, very soon you will learn not to notice the stench and you can only feel the fragrance of colors and aromatic resins.

6. Incredible number of people

In India, a billion people live, from a permanent pillar of ripples in the eyes and a head is spinning. In such an atmosphere, we get tired very quickly, so you often change the place of stay, go to the countryside, in the mountain or forest.

7. Communication and language

Do not worry about the fact that you do not know Hindi, here english Know everything. If you have difficulties and with this language, the language of gestures to help you. The main thing, smile and be polite and the Indians will always help.

8. Photo for memory

Among the Indians there is a belief that the photo with the Europeans brings good luck. Do not hesitate to take pictures with local residentsWhen they ask you about it.

9. Indian Bazaars

Want to feel all the flavor of this country and its inhabitants? Then the famous Indian bazaars are what you need. The Deliy Market Chandni Choek is ideal, but also small bazaars are also not inferior on their painfulness and originality. Here it is necessary to bargain, as a rule, prices are already overestimated by almost 10 times! Try not to leave all your money on the very first day, believe me, it is quite possible.

10. Be careful with the beggars and beggars

Often, they are going together, it is worth sacrificing to one, as the whole arms of the beggars are surrounded.

11. Do not forget, in India a lot of monkeys

Here there are a lot of them, they even build temples for them, but you should not relax if you do not want to lose your things. There are Indians who specifically teach monkeys to steal dear equipment from tourists. Always be alert!

12. Capture beauty

India is pierced by mystery, beauty and amazing things. At each step, you can safely press the button of the camera, do not err the frame. The main thing, be patient for subsequent analysis of your photos.

13. Forget about the guidebook

No standard route can replace your own desires and observations.

14. Do not try to inspect all India in one day

In an effort to run a gallop over all of India, see and try everything, you will rather bite off a piece from everything, but never feel taste. The country is incredible and it will not be able to drive around it even in a couple of months. Examine all the same interesting places, make up your route, and better, forget all the schemes and just trust your feelings and desires.

Prologue. Fees.

I will begin with the fact that our trip to India was planned long before the delay. I love everything to plan, in connection with what flights, hotels were selected with special care, and routes were also built. We do not treat those travelers who run through the whole white light round year With backpacks on the back, for whom we do not stand at the other end of the planet, and which in their homeland spend less time than in the roads. We are completely ordinary people ("White Collars", "Managers", "Office Plankton") who decided to spend two weeks of cherished holidays to see India with their own eyes.

Naturally, when planning a trip, a lot of information was processed on the Internet, a large number of artistic, documentaries and amateur videos were viewed, read books. Now, perhaps, I will go to the main one. Here is a list of criteria for me, at which you should not go to India: - You intend to go on a trip with a small child; - You are afraid (or you are very unpleasant) insects; - You do not focus on the map and in unfamiliar places; - You do not tolerate hot weather; - You can't live a day without comfort (good car, beauty salon, exquisite food, etc.); - You are experiencing significant discomfort when there are a lot of noise, people, dirt; - You strongly indicate in transport. If you (like any normal person) love comfort and purity, but at the same time ready to pull out a couple of weeks a month without manicure and fashionable restaurants for the sake of new, nothing with any comparable sensations, then you really need to go to India.

Registration of documents.

To stay in India citizens Russian Federation must have a visa. There are several types of Indian visas, the most comfortable, simple in the design and suitable for us was the so-called electronic visa. I will not dwell on it in detail, because everything is written in detail here, but even there is a video assistant to fill the questionnaire on this visa. For checkmark, I will note that when you receive a visa, we paid 60 $ visa collection and another $ 2 for something like conversion. So ... Bags are collected, the documents are decorated, the heads are full of horns about the antisanitarian and wild animals. We are ready for vacation!

Part 1. Goa

For two weeks, we decided to see everything. Initially, we did not plan to go to Goa. We purchased flights Moscow-Delhi-Moscow (19 391 rubles. Aeroflot), but, finally disappointed in the summer of 2015, very much wanted the sea and the sun. No matter what. We purchased Delhi Dabolim Delhi for 9607 rubles. (Airline AEI India).

Aerofolot delivered us to Delhi without adventure, there we moved to the hall of local flights, bought a bottle of water (20 rupees) and settled in the waiting room until we were invited to land. It is worth noting that in Delhi a large, modern, clean and spacious airport. The first feeling that you are in India, arose on the plane. The beautiful flight of the airline Airline India in Bright Red Sari asked: "VEG OR NO VEG". We asked no veg. Richik, vegetables, chicken, nothing foreshadowed trouble ... But one spoon was enough so that everything was caught up inside. The eyes were saddown with unusual and "made his way" a runny nose. We were ready for this.

September in Goa - Completion of the rainy season. We drove the muddy and we were lucky. For 4 days spent at the resort, the rain was 1 time and then early in the morning. From the advantages of finding in Goa not in the season: calm, clean white sand, the absence of any kind of traders, feeding the resort workers. Of the minuses: strong waves, you can only splash near the shore, going into the sea maximum on the belt, for fans to swim away - not an option; The sea color is not as azure as a season; Excursion bureaus closed, I really wanted to ride on elephants, but, alas, failed. And, most importantly, beach restaurants closed, and I really counted on them.

In Goa, we have chosen the Hotel Alagoa Resort, the beach, respectively, Betalbatim. The cost of the room per day for two in this hotel is about 1,000 rupees / day. The hotel is not the best, but it is quite suitable for the night. Taxis to the hotel ordered at the airport, the cost of 600 rupees to our hotel. Although at the hotel and there was a restaurant, but I personally didn't like it. In search of food, we forgot about safety measures and went on her searches. Not far from the hotel, "By smell", we found something like the "shaurmic" for the local, there we took noodles, pellets, rice with vegetables. It was unsafe, of course, but ooooooo delicious. From now on, we learned that I love "Eggs Noools".

And the next day we found a wonderful cafe "Monte Carlo", which was also not far from our hotel. Food there is just wonderful, loyal prices. In Goa Good: Sun, Sea, White Sand, Madly Delicious Fruits, especially Pineapples! But this is not India, not India. The food here is not so acute, but Rickshaws are not so frantic.

Part 2. The first meeting from Delhi.

We flew to Delhi from Goa in the area of 4 o'clock in the evening. As in Goa, they made a taxi to the hotel at the airport, a taxi price: 1300 RUP. From the airport to the hotel we drove a very long time, collecting all the traffic jams along the way. Located in the popular tourist town of Main Bazaar. It is not worth afraid of this place! Internet shot by stories about what it is curious placeWhat I do not agree ... I like the word "colorful". But it is now. In the first minutes, being in a taxi and pushing out between a huge number of people in the commissance of walking down the street, merchants who tried directly in the car window to bother us some kind of goods, Ricks and completely amorphous cows, I stayed in a state of complete shock.

Like any resident of the metropolis, I do not like the crowd, I do not like to be in the center of the crowd, I do not like when I disrupt my personal space, I do not like when I was shown with my finger, in the end! In India, the concept of personal space is absent in principle, and if you are also "white", then, on the contrary, each passing by trying to touch you just out of curiosity. But ... Let's go back to Maine Bazar. In any Russian city there is a bazaar. So Maine Bazaar is the same bazaar as a collective farm market in our native Kazan. And, living on Maine Bazaar, you live, by and large, in the middle of the collective farm market. The whole street is the market. But it is worth entering any hotel, you will immediately forget that this very market behind the door. This place is convenient because in walking distance of the subway, railway station, travel agencies, shops, souvenir shops, exchangers.

The night at the hotel on Maine Bazaar per room for two is about 1,000 - 1,500 rubles. We stayed at Hari Prioko. The hotel liked: Clean linen, quite a cozy room, helpful staff. I will not hide, after we unpacked things and decided to go outside shopping, dinner and tickets to Manali, I chopped hearts and was ready to jumped out the outside, a sense of unknown, small fear, shock and curiosity. After 5 minutes of staying on the street, all fears disappeared. On a noisy, dirty, dark, crowded street we felt quite comfortable. We walked (yes. We walked around the bazaar. It is India, guys, normally), made the necessary purchases, acquired tickets to Volvo Bass to Manali.
