Lifehak 1 - how to buy good insurance
It is very difficult to choose good insurance. Therefore, for travelers I made up a rating. Reviews, opinions and fresh information for rating I take, relying on my experience, as well as analyzing travel forums and specialized sites.

Pink Valley (Güllüdere, Gullyuder) - One of the most popular valleys near the hemer. Enters B. excursion Red Tour (Red Tour). Strictly speaking, the valley is closer to Chavushina, but most often it is visited from Görta. The name of the valley received due to the pink shade of the rocks. It has two canyons (spurs), which differ as the Pink-1 valley and the Pink Valley-2. These two canyons have two different entrances, but then they are connected together. In the valley there are churches, pigeon, grapes, turtles and lizards.

In diagrams and maps, the valley is indicated in different ways. In the English version - Roze Valley. On travel stones, the name of the valley is written in the Turkish language Güllüdere Vadisi, which in Russian sounds like Gulleder.

Full map With all the valleys you can download on this page: .

Two spits of Pink-1 valley and pink-2 are located in parallel to each other. They stretch from the wide part to the Sunset Point viewing site on the hill of the ACTEE. The Valley of the Pink Valley-1 has in turn two branches, which then converge together.

The length of the valley, if you go through the sprog pink-1(From the Meskender Valley to the Sunset Loctern), about 3 km. If you go through the sprog pink-2 (From the Meskendir Valley to the Sunset Loctern), the length of the valley will be about 2 km. But if you enter the first sorry of Pink-1, and go through the second spur of Pink-2, then it will work about 3 km.

How to find entrances to the valley

  • First option. From Chavushina from the rock fortress we go towards the hemer through the cemetery (from the fortress to the cemetery of 300 meters). After 300 meters after the end of the cemetery there will be a fork - you need that road that goes left. Approximately 400 meters from the development of the left will be the entrance to the Pink Valley-1, and another 500 meters - the entrance to the Pink Valley-2. Each of the inputs is marked by track stone. Near the entrance to the Spurn Pink-2 there is a roadside seasonal cafe.
  • Second option. From Görem through the Sabel Valley. We pass the Sabel Valley: how to do it ,. Go off the hill to the dirt road, where the cafe is located. Here is the intersection of several roads. Direct will be the entrance to the Pink Valley-2. If you go left towards Chavushina, then after 500 meters there will be a turn right to the Pink Valley-1. The entrances are noted by track stones.
  • Third option. Through . Closer to the mountain (hill), the act will be pointers on the pink valley of the Red Valley.
  • Fourth option. The trail is as well as for the Red Valley, starts from the observation platform of the sunset on the hill of the ACTEP. Getting to the viewing area can be as follows. Moving from Görem on the road to Åtsisisar (3 km). Then turn to the left on the track to Urguup and get to another turn to the left to the viewing platform (0.6 km). Now on this road we are moving straight 2 km. The total distance from Görem to the sunset is almost 6 km. Usually comes here either on travelers (), or by taxi.

Important!Read the general recommendations for all Valleys :.

The time of the valley:if you do not hurry, it will take about 2-2.5 hours. Usually visits the valleys are combined with a walk along the Meskendar Valley and the Red Valley, sometimes capture the valley of the Sabel.

It is more likely to do this: first they are held the first, the most interesting part of the Meskendir Valley (see), then go to the Red Valley and go to Pink 2 or Pink-1. After that, you can go to the fortress in Chavushin or through the Sabel Valley to return to the gayama.

By the way, by the way, a good option to enter through the first spur (Pink-1), and go out through the second (Pink-2).

In general, the pink valley is inconvenient because it is not direct, as, say, Valley or, and therefore, to fully pass it, it is necessary to walk along the same paths several times to visit all sorts of branches. But in general, so few people do - they simply choose one of the revolt and pass through it, believing that the Pink Valley is visited.

Church of the Pink Valley (Güllüdere, Gullyuder)

  • Church with Quay or Church Ayvalı Kilise dates back to the 10th century. Located approximately 1 km from the entrance to the Pink Valley-2, if you go from the Meskendir Valley. The church consists of two chapels, one of which was the tomb. The church survived the frescoes, but to see them, unfortunately, will not work, because it is closed for visiting.
  • Church with Cross or Hacla Church (Haçlı Kilise) dates back to the 10th century. The church is located near a seasonal cafe. Famous flat ceiling, on which a large cross carved. The church is located at the top - a wooden staircase leads to it.

One of the chapels, presumably, served as a tomb.
  • Church with columns Direction (Direkli Kilise) dates back to the 11th century. The big church, the premises of which are connected by the tunnels. The frescoes inside are not preserved. The pink valley actually consists of several valleys that flow into each other. In order to pass the valley on its own slowly, from time to time resting, looking in the church and dwellings of the valley, you will need five hours. Since the valley is quite difficult, you need to carefully monitor the paths and pointers, so as not to get lost and not walk in a circle. You can also just stroll along the valley from one or second item and return to the place where you started walking.

Those who are going to Capadoky or only thinking about where to spend the next vacation, we present our guide to this amazing area of \u200b\u200bTurkey. Unusually here everything: Mountains, rock hotels, restaurants and monasteries. We will tell you that you are worthy of your attention in the first place.

Cappadocia in larger

So, Cappadocia or the "country of beautiful horses" is first mentioned in the annals during the Roman Emperor of August. The origin of the central capadocia is unique. As archaeologists say, about 100 million years ago, the three main volcanoes of this territory Erdjies, Hassan and Gölyudag were particularly active. In a tireless eruption, they spacked the kilotons of volcanic masses that were settled on the plateau, the bottom of the local rivers and lakes are not boring. Over time, a tuff of different density and different content has been formed from the masses. In addition, local rivers, rivers and streams over time and not without the help of winds corrupted a soft tuff forming peculiar mountain cones. And because There was a basalt somewhere in the tuff, somewhere more solid rocks, then on the tops of the cones in some valleys, these rowing caps were formed.

Thus, peribajalars were formed. Valley of love.

Cyriclar Valley

Interestingly, the diversity of volcanic emissions created a surprisingly diverse landscape. Having managed all the valleys of Cappadocia, we guarantee that each of the valleys can present its unique view of the mountains and the landscape. It is curious that in English these unique forms of the mountains sound like "fairy-chimney" or "magic chimneys" :) and even in Turkish they sound somehow a fabulous - "peribajalary".

These are the docks of the gnomes you will find on the outskirts of the city of Achischisar, on the way to the "Valley of the Goluben"

If you gathered in Cappadocya, then it is best to get here by plane to Nevsehir, and then by taxi to the city of Görta, which is 30-40 kilometers from the airport. Taxi drivers, as well as everywhere - the ear, but no one has canceled the use of meters. The road to the city will cost you about 150 Turkish lira.

Gorem - center mountain, part, restaurant and cultural life Cappadocia. Without thinking, we recommend to "quit an anchor" here. In addition to the close accessibility of all major attractions, in Maorem you will find more and more choice of hotels, restaurants, tours and other entertainment.

Görem city from the observation deck.

Useful advice: Do not be lazy and look for a hotel, cut down in a real rock. Such hotels tend to have the word "Cave" (Ottoman Cave Suite, Rome Cave Hotel, etc.). However, it is worth a separately clarify or specify in booking that you need a rock number.

Rock Boutique Hotel in Achechisar

We will not do full Overview All places in Cappadocia, but we note, on our subjective look, only ten most interesting, where exactly should go.

1. Museum-Reserve Görema (GÖreme Open Air Museum)

This is the first place that is exactly worth visiting. Located in a kilometer from the city itself, in fact within walking distance. The museum itself is located in the valley, where the entire spiritual and religious life of Christian Byzantium was concentrated in the IV-XIII centuries. The great Christian associates lived here - Vasily Great, his brother Gregory Nissky, Grigory Theologian. Do not miss the "buckle" church, which is located outside the museum, on the way to the side of Gorare. Ticket to the museum and the church are one.

2. CITY OF ACCISARY AND ECHISAR CASTLE (Uchisar Castle)

It is impossible to miss, because it is the most high Point in all capadokia. The fortress was initially a high tuy might, but since the area was at the intersection of the interests of different states and peoples and raids were often accomplished on her, the mountain was adapted to the garrison fortress and the observation point.

Scientist fortress

Mountain is exist with tens of windows, entrances, rooms and transitions. Most premises are risen and not available to visitors.

Sunset is the most correct time to lift to the very top. Just do not rush to descend and wait for the very end. Suns in Cappadocia are unexpectedly diverse. If you are interested in photography, then the daily winds of the sun "for a hill" will delight you with unusual paints of the heavenly ascets and a bizarre game of clouds. Again, for photo lovers - especially picturesque view from the west side during sunset: a lot of windows, openings, bluebird. Entrance to the fortress is paid.

Sunits in the teaching

3. Pigeon Valley (Pigeon Valley)

The valley stretches a few kilometers from Görta to Science. We advise you to get to Science and start the descent on his part. So you will constantly go down, and not climb up. Agree, it is much more pleasant;)

"Valley of Polanden"

4. Valley of Love (Love Valley)

Yes, yes, this is exactly what you thought about. The whole valley of monumental male advantages. Large and small. For every taste. Enjoy.

Start the Route on the Valley of Love is better from the state of the teaching, but to finish a few kilometers from Görta.

5. Pashab Valleyand "(Pashabagi Valley)

Those who did not have the impressions of the monumental men's advantages of the Valley of Love can be lacking here. Advantages are of greater staturies and adolescence. Do not miss in the center of a small valley Celle Simeon Stalnik. We will tell about him in our next story about Cappadocia.

6. Red and Rose Valley (Red and Rose Valley)

Bursted with water, forces and memory card for the camera. Valley is a huge, loop, with several small scolish churches, with beautiful species, steep lifts, picturesque tunnels and multi-colored tuffs fairy. In three words: walk, watch, photograph.

"Pink Valley"

7. Underground Capadokia (Derinkyu, Kalmakli)

The exact number of underground cities in Cappadocia is not known, as some of them collapsed them, and some were not found. From open to visit - 8 cities, of which the most popular kaymakles and Derinka. If you are traveling with children, we recommend starting sightseeing from the cities - they will lead children to this delight. Each city is unique. If you are in Kaymakli, then notice the sinking and chaotic of urban planning. If you get to Derinka, by the way, the largest underground city, then amazeing its harmony and completely "urban logic" planning. ABOUT underground cities We will also tell me separately and in more detail.

8. Soganl Valley (Songali Valley)

You can get here only by car or with a group. We advise you to go individually for what one day you can rent a car. On the way, special types, mountain and rocky churches are guaranteed, many rocky pigeon and an amazing monastery at the very end of the path. There you will find six rock churches, some of which are covered with frescoes of a thousand years ago. Try to find the entrance to the "Hidden Church".

Locals still live on the territory of the reserve in rock caves. Sonagal Valley.

Sungali rock monasteries

9. The Valley of Ihlara Valley (Ihlara Valley)

Despite the fact that the valley is somewhat away from very popular routes, this place is very interesting for visiting. Here you can get to either with the excursion group, or on your own, renting the car. Individual tourism, though roads, but more informative. In the valley you can go down in two ways. We recommend starting our route near the village of Belisirma (Belisirma), somewhere in the middle of the valleys. First, you can leave your car in the parking lot next to the entrance, and secondly, you will not need to go down, and most importantly, then climb 200 steps leading from the gorge. Believe me, after 7-10 kilometers traveled on foot, lifting up the gorge of 200 steps will seem to you torture. The valley itself is divided by the river into two shores connected by four bridges. The length of the entire valley is 14 kilometers, but the most interesting part is about 7 kilometers, just between 4 bridges. If you are going to the valley on your car - keep in mind that you have to get around the valley in a circle and even these 7 kilometers are immediately turned into 14. Actually, therefore we advise you to leave your car on the nearest parking lot from the village of Belisirma, the pointer to which you can easily find , or the navigator will definitely lead you.

What to look in the valley. In addition to the amazing beauty of the faults created with the cut-down lava, each stone is picturesque, every turn of the river and every rolled old tree. Add to this rocky temples, painted by frescoes of the IX-XI centuries, strange faults, caves and moves.

Especially for men! Be sure to find the "Snake Church". Inside, on the left immediately at the entrance will be the fresco of a "terrible court", where four sinful women biting snakes are depicted. The one that did not feed the children with breasts, one bites in the chest. The one thing chatting a lot, snake bites in his mouth, and the one that did not listen to her husband - in the ears. Well, and the one that has changed her husband, for a particularly serious sin, you wander like eight snakes. This fresco, as instructions and prevention, was used by Byzantine men to tame their wives;)

10. Chavushin and surroundings (Chavushin)

In the vicinity of the city of Chavushin is interesting for several places, the first is the urban fortress. At the beginning of the 20th century, Chavushin was small greek city. During unrest in Turkey, the Greeks left their homes and fled to Greece. Now the city is completely populated by the Turks, but the suffering of the Greeks is still visible in the empty glazes of Greek houses, in the hurry leaving their land. Many at home did not acquire new owners and stand alone and destroyed. But Tourists and children are rejoiced by picturesque ruins.

Not far from Chavushina, on the road to the city of Avanos there is a turn to the Pashabia Valley. We told about her earlier. But if you pass further towards the grasp, then get to the Devrent Valley Valley with a famous camel and beautiful peribajalam. Unfortunately, the valley is very few laid pedestrian routes. But there is a spirit of pioneers;)

Notice to those who go to Cappadocia through Istanbul - do not forget to download our

Cappadocia is known worldwide with its unique scalging formations and caves that were used by Christian settlers many centuries ago. While many people prefer to see the landscapes from height, no less interesting to go through the valleys on foot.

Near the settlements, Herre, Scientist and Chavushin are the most interesting valleys of Cappadocia. They differ in beauty, the complexity of the landscape, durability in the way and even in color. Some are most popular, and others are completely deserted. Depending on your health and physical form, you can choose the trekking of any level of complexity. The "average" tourist will be able to bypass all the valleys in 2-3 days.

The difficulty was not even in our endurance, but in the orientation on the ground. For your convenience - here is the main map hiking routes According to Cappadocia Valley:

The smallest to the hemer of the valley. Begins immediately behind the museum under open sky. It is nicknamed because of the separate sharp rocks that resemble swords or daggers. It is considered the shortest valley, but there are many ancient stone huts and the deepest ravine in which you can go down. You can bypass Kiliclar Vadisi in 1-2 hours.

Pink and Red Valley (Rose, Red Valleys)

The most famous valleys in Cappadocia. Large difference between the red and pink valleys (two of them: Gulleudere-1 and Gullyuder-2) we did not notice. The cliffs of about the same pink color, somewhere darker, somewhere with a turn.

Walking through the valleys, we met abandoned vineyards and pumpkin fields, at home, in which people even recently lived (which were left abandoned vineyards):

More recently, people lived in this house, even some kind of water barrel still stands near the entrance

Abandoned vineyard near the house

Ancient rocky churches, frescoes in which are almost not visible:

There are big churches, for example, like this:

Entrance to a huge cave church:

On the way, small cafes came across a couple of times, in which you can drink orange juice or tea.

Fresh orange juice for a dollar and a view of a million

And there are also abandoned cafes: and not surprising, because quite a small percentage of tourists in Cappadocia are solved for long hiking in the mountains, so income such a cafe practically does not bring.

Abandoned cafe

Rising to these mountains, you feel the lord of the world: from the height, the indescribable views of the valley and a single living soul in the visibility zone are open!

A couple of times we met a clearing with dried grapes, slowly turning under the scoring September sun in Raisins:

All photos from the Pink Valley:

Love Valley (Love Valley)

This valley is famous for its thin and long cliffs with triangular tops. A more suitable name for this valley is the valley of phallos, but it is used exclusively among tourists.

Fortress Chavushin (also known to breathe or cheese rock)

The fortress once served the housing for a variety of families, a sort of analogue of a modern high-rise building, an apartment building.

In addition to ordinary residential premises, there is a church here. The frescoes in it are already lighted. It is clearly visible how diligently tried to destroy the faces of the Ottoman invaders (in Muslim religion, the image of people and animals is prohibited in the Muslim religion, and with the destruction of a person who believed the soul from icons):

Entrance to the fortress is free.

Pigeon Valley (Pigeon Valley)

Another one of its name is the valley of the Puzzle or Valley of the pigeons. Indeed, in the cliffs of the valley, the great many Puzzle was noticed: Local residents of these birds love. It turns out. The breeding of pigeons also has a practical goal: mining of pigeon litter, which, in opinion local residentsIs the best fertilizer.

There is a valley between the hemer and the scientist, so it will be logical to combine her passage with a visit to the fortress of the institution. And here again new forms of rocks!

Right at the exit from the valley is cozy cafe. We gladly drank tea there and talked with the owner. When he learned that we were Russian from Samara, was incredibly delighted, and said that his car was also from Samara. Indeed, under the tree near the cafe stood the red old Lada, on which the owner comes daily to his cafe from the teaching and waiting for very rare tourists.

Valley Creek (Zemi Valley)

It is considered the longest valley - its length is 5.6 km. You can visit it together with the open-air museum in the hemer. The entrance is literally 100 meters from the Museum Parking. Previously, the stream was burned here, but already drying, although in some places are still pretty raw and dirty. On the way you can meet several churches, celi, chimneys.

The Zeavy Valley is very easy at the level of complexity, very beautiful and very significant - there are no excursions and quad bikes.

Meskendir Valley Valley (Meskendir Valley)

The length of the valley - 4400 m, lies in the south-west direction from oretsisar to the village of Chavushin. Start Trekking is needed between Open Air Museum and the settlement of Åtsuisar.

The path is quite long, but very interesting for study. On the way, you can minimize at once for 3 other valleys, visit several churches. Messaendir is considered "entrance to Cappadocia Valley." She is known for its unusual scalging formations, multicolored stones and lunar landscape. All the way will be approximately 3 hours.
